Chapter 1| the beginning

Kats POV

Why was it so hot in LA? I thought to myself as I made my way to the air conditioned Starbucks. I had just moved and I was already sick of this weather, it's always so hot here nothing like Michigan.

As soon as I walked into Starbucks I felt a rush of cold air, which felt amazing. As I opened snapchat I saw that some Faze members had posted, it looked like they were going to Starbucks too. I thought nothing of it and ordered my coffee. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a big group of guys and two departing and walking into Starbucks.

'No fucking way' I said pretty loudly, as a few people turned their heads.
Right in front of me walked in Blaziken and Adapt.
Lucas (Blaziken for those who don't know) looked at me and gave me a warm smile. He was such a gorgeous human being. I wanted to take a picture with them so bad, but I didn't want to be that bitch and bother them. They always tell stories about fan encounters and I didn't want to annoy them in any way. But, I may never see them again. I had to take a picture.

I got up from my table, leaving all of my stuff, and slowly approached them so I didn't seem like a complete stalker.

'Hi, um, I know this is really annoying and I hate to bug you guys, but is there anyway we could get a picture.' They were still in line and I knew in that moment I had made a mistake.

Lucas smiled at me,' Ofcourse, as soon as we get our coffee I would love to take a picture.'

'Alright, dope. Thank you so much.' I smiled and 180 turned before I realized there was something I forgot to ask. 'Can I buy your guys' coffee for you?'

Alex looked at me funny,' What?', he said kind of laughing.

I kinda felt dumb now,' I was wondering if I could buy your coffee.'

Lucas smiled and hit Alex lightly,' What he's trying to say is sure, we don't usually have pretty girls offer to buy us coffee,' he said laughing.

What the fuck just happened, Lucas called me pretty. I didn't even know what to think.

'Dope, I'll just go grab my card' I said walking and pointing to my stuff.

As I turned back I saw them whispering things back and forth while slightly looking at me.

They started to order as I handed the lady my card. I could feel them staring at me like a laser, it was so weird.

As we were waiting for their coffee they asked if they could sit at my table with me. Ofcourse I said yes.

'So, What's your name?' Lucas asked me.
'Kat' I said taking a drink of my coffee.
'Sick, How long have you lived here?'
'I just moved here a couple weeks ago, I moved out here for school.' I said gesturing towards all the books.

'Ohh that's dope, where you going to school?'

'UCLA' I said getting up, which may have seemed rude but I went to go get their coffees. When I got back I asked,' So how do you like LA?'

'Oh we love it, it's so awesome out here. The Faze house is dope.' Lucas said.

'Yea we love it, we meet a lot more fans out here.' Alex said, 'So how are you liking LA?'

'I really like it, the weather is a little bit different from what I'm used to, but I love it. I haven't seen as much as I've wanted to but what I have is great.'

'I mean, I could show you around if you'd like?', he said smiling.

Before I got the chance to answer Alex hit him on the arm,' He means we.'

I laughed,' If you would that would be dope.'

I looked at me phone,' Holy shit, I'm gonna be late for class,' I wrote down my phone number.'Heres for when you feel like being a tour guide.' I said smiling and handing him the piece of paper.

He smiled and watched as I rushed out the door.
