Chapter 3

(Lauren's POV)

Dad came bursting through the door. What the fuck was he doing here?

"What are you doing here?" I spat.

"Lauren, I am so sorry. This is all my fault!" Dad cried.

"You think you can just come in here and apologize thinking that I would forgive you? You're hella wrong!!"

"I don't want you to forgive me just yet. I want you to know how sorry I am. I'm you're father, I should've treated you a whole lot better than I did. Please, just know how sorry I am."

He's crying. I've never seen Dad cry. Never in my whole life. Should I forgive him? No. Not yet. I need to see if he really changed and he really is sorry. I have to see that this isn't one of his dirty little games.

"I'm not going to forgive you just yet." I told him. "I need to see if you really changed. That you really are sorry. When I see that you've changed, then maybe I'll forgive you."

"Okay, you will see that I am sorry. I'll make sure of it!" he said.

He walked out of the room, then Niall walked in with Eric.

"Okay, um, I need to tell you two something." said Niall.

I looked over at Eric and he just shrugged. Wonder what this is all about.

"Tomorrow, I am leaving for the X Factor." Niall told us.

What??? No! This can't be!! He's leaving me? No, leaving us?? How could he?

"You're what???" Eric asked in disbelief.

"I'm going to go to the X Factor tomorrow." said Niall. "I can't bring you guys with, I tried begging them to let you guys to come, but they won't let me."

"Who's them?" I asked.

"The people in charge of it." answered Niall. "They don't want you to interfere or whatever they said. And the bad part is, you guys are staying with dad. Aiden's parents wouldn't let you guys stay with him because they said, 'There's going to be too many kids'."

What?? No! This can't be happening!!

(Eric's POV)

Niall's leaving. This is so hard! Me and Lauren love Niall. And he's leaving us! Gaaahhhhhh!!!!!! I can't believe this!

(Niall's POV)

I feel really bad about leaving Eric and Lauren. I wish there was some way I could bring them along. I feel like an awful brother.

~The next day~

I trudged out of my bed this morning. I was leaving today. It's going to be really hard leaving. I promised them I would come and visit them as soon as I could. By the way, Lauren's out o te hospital.

I'm at the airport. I said goodbye to Aiden & Dad. I gave Eric & Lauren an extra big long hug. I got on the plane and looked out the window. I could see Eric, Lauren, Aiden, & Dad looking at me. I gave them one last wave goodbye. They waved back. The plane took off. I just sat back in my seat and fell asleep.

(Lauren's POV)

We watched Niall's plane leave. I could feel tears running down my face. Aiden started rubbing my back. I miss him so much already. Dad led us back to the car, then I bumped into someone. Ed.

"What do you want?" I spat at him.

He just looked down at the ground.

"Heard that you're brother was going on the X Factor." he mumbled.

"Yeah, so what? Why can't you just leave me alone?! You're one of the people who made my life a living hell!"

"Lauren, c'mon." said Dad.

I walked away an saw Ed's sorrowful face. I rolled my eyes and got in the car. I hate my life.
