Yassie: "That's my flight. I think I need to walk inside now."

Conner: "Baby, can you please stay for 5 minutes? I just want to hold you like this for a little bit longer."

Yassie: "Okay."

...we sat together on a bench with her head on my shoulder. I wish I could keep her with me forever but things had to happen for a reason."

Yassie: (whispers) "Baby, do you remember the very first time you held my hand?"

Conner: "Mmmm. I think I do. Was that when I carried you while you were wearing that mermaid outfit?" (laughs)

Yassie: (laughs) "Good guess, but you're wrong. That wasn't the first time."

Conner: "Really? Then when was it?"

Yassie: "The very first time was when I was covered with flour. You took my hand and wiped it off with a towel without even thinking that I may be a bad person. I could have freaked out, but as I watched you help me, I was struck with your kindness. So, I guess that was when I started liking you."

Conner: "Oh yeah. I do remember. How could I forget the cute flour lady? (laughs) The first time we met I thought you were incredibly adorable. When I saw your smile while you were covered with flour, you took my breath away. That was when I thought I have to help you clean up. I don't know but I always had that feeling whenever I see you. That I have to protect you."

Yassie: "Really?"

Conner: "Yes, and I know I won't get tired of doing it..for you."

Yassie: (tears starts falling) "Baby, I'll miss you."

Conner: "I'll miss you too baby. Be strong okay? I know we'll be together again soon."

...but before I could kiss her, another announcement was made."

Yassie: "Okay baby, I need to go inside now"

Conner: "Be safe out there baby and don't forget to call me once you arrive."

Yassie: "I will."

Conner: "Okay get inside there now. I don't want you to miss your flight."

...then I hugged her and turned to walk away quickly because I was about to tear up and I didn't want her to see that. But I stopped on my tracks when she ran to hug me from behind."

Yassie: "I love you baby."

...I turned to hugged her back then she handed me a small gift."

Conner: "What's this?"

Yassie: "I want you to open it when you get home."

Conner: "Okay. Thanks"

...then I bent closer and gave her one last kiss."

Yassie "This isn't goodbye baby. I love you".

Conner: (whispers) "I know. I love you too."

...she gave me a wave as she headed to the entrance. I decided to stay for a few minutes at the departure lounge while I watched her plane take off with her gift on my hand."
