ISABELLE'S POV.
"Isa, I'm in love with you. Only you. You make me crazy and happy and sappy. Without you, I'd be no one." He said.
"ISABELLLLLLLLLLLLL! GET UP YOU DUMBÀSS!" She screamed.
It was all a dream. The same dream. The same feeling that I have felt every single time i have it. But this time, I'll finally give up trying to find this mysterious grey eyed monster who was been haunting in my dreams. Jeremy.
I knew I had to wake up. It was school after all. I did enjoy going to school. But on Monday's, it's sucks. I like school and all but trust me, Monday's are the worst. Like you have to wake up at 7am get dressed in some what comfortable clothes, go to school, come home and study. It clearly shows how I have no social life what so ever. It gets boring at times but I guess my books are what have kept me alive. Writing, reading and probably even singing is what I spend my time doing.
As a senior in a public school in a small town in Australia, I seem to be quite relatable as every other normal nerdy girl.
"I'm coming." I said through the intercom faking how sweet I sounded. It has always been like this. 'Just a year more Belle, just a year more. You will be free from this bitch of a step mother'. Doesn't my life look like a cinderella story yet?
Well, it isn't. And I don't believe in sappy love stories. Guys suck. Books have set my expectations too high for me to even look at hot guys without relating with my books.
Wow, don't I sound like a nerd.
"ISABELLE, WHERE THE HELL IS MY TEA, YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING BRAT." She yelled through the intercom, almost shaking the whole house.
Urgh, her god damn tea. God. I rushed towards my little stove that was across my little cottage house which was given to me by father before his death. This is the only thing I have of his while that bitch of a step mother lives in the mansion where I used to live in when father was alive and mother was around.
Mother hardly ever comes around anymore. She's too busy running her major fashion industry in New York. My mother, also known as Anabelle Sazrani, is one of the top designers in the world. She had left when dad found Claudia Lawrence, who is the bitch of a step mum. My dad, Andrew Straus, was the CEO of the Straus Group. The Straus Group is the biggest leading groups in the whole of Australia. After he died, Claudia has taken over the whole group and is probably sleeping with her Secretary.
I was the only child, while my step mother doesn't have one. And that is one of the reasons she despised me. I moved out of that house the moment Claudia came. She was my dad's Secretary. He had fallen hard for her while she was in love with his money and fame.
My mother and father had always looked as though they had just came out of a magazine. My mum's dark brown hair contrasted with my dad's blond hair. She had green eyes while he had blue eyes.
I look like my mother a bit, my overgrown brown hair and those plain green eyes, pale skin that sometimes made me look sick. But my body shape is nothing like my mother. She is petite while I'm tall. She's thin while I'm curvy. I have always been insecure about my body size since I'm quite huge. But I got over it. It's my wish with how I want to look like and I'm not going to let someone else decide on how I'm meant to look or how I'm suppose to dress.
I had begged my mother to take me along with her but Claudia had wanted to keep me. I honestly dont know why. But one good thing is that Claudia is rarely home. And when she is, she treats me like a maid.
Like come on, the daily maid comes every morning to clean the house.
I hurriedly turned on the kettle to boil the tea. I ran to my sparkling white washroom and jumped into the shower. Since I had washed my hair the night before, I was too lazy to wash it again. Like how do some people wash their hair everyday? Do they know how much of shampoo they are wasting? I have such long hair that it's too hard for me to was it every single day.
I did all the things every girl does when they shower. I got out and slipped into my skinny jeans that was on the floor. I took out a black hoodie from my closet and slipped it on as it was getting quite cold and i personally love hoodies. They are so comfy and look so cute.
I tied my hair into a side braid and put on my huge nerdy glasses.
I placed my school bag on the handle of my bicycle and poured the tea which was on the kettle into a flask.
You must be wondering, why do I live on my own, cycle to school, go to a public school when I'm the sole heir of a billionare company. This is because I want to. I hate living in the life of a snobby teen. No one knows about me. That's why I use my own last name. Claudia had help me pull some strings to make it believable that my name is Isabelle Jazrial when it's meant to be Isabelle Straus.
I stopped by just in time to see Claudia leaving. I gave her the flask while she glared at me.
"Why are you so late! Do you know I have a meeting? Urgh, you are so annoying!" She said.
I just faked that I was sorry and hurryly cycled to school. The best part of cycling to school, the wind that blows through your hair.
I get that most people would get their drivers licence by now, but Claudia thought it would be better for me to not get it now. Urgh. She just doesn't want me to drive her cars.
I reached at school just right on time to see the school full in buzz. It seems as though there is a latest gossip going around. I couldn't care less and walked towards my locker. But I didn't except to see him here.
No. Not again.
"Hey Isa. Long time no see." He said with a smirk creeping onto his face.
God bless my soul.
