Not a Forgotten Promise

This is what I wanted to see happen at the end of 3x13. In this story, Andy never asked look for a spot on the task force. Therefore, she never goes undercover I'm not sure it this is going to be a one-shot or multi-chapter fic. I'll see if it's worth continuing if everyone likes it.

Andy was confused.

Sam had just poured his heart out to her. She had no idea what to make of his promises.

"I'll make you dinner. I'll take out your garbage. I'll walk your dog."

Those promises had Andy more confused then ever.

She didn't know if she could believe him. He had broke one of the only promises he ever made to her...

"You wont get rid of me without a fight."

When Andy remembered how he had broke that promise to her so easy, without a second thought. She started thinking about how easy it would be for him to break her heart all over again.

That fear alone was enough for Andy to realize that she isn't ready to give Sam another chance.

She's not ready to get her heart broken just when it's beginning to heal.

So, with that realization, she begin the short walk home.

Meanwhile, at The Penny, Sam jumped every time the door opened.

He knew he messed up, and all he wanted was a chance to fix it.

He sat at the bar, nursing a beer, until closing. He would've stayed longer, but Liam kicked him out. Deep down, he knew Andy wasn't coming a long time ago, he just didn't want to face it.

He missed her more than words can say, and he wasn't giving up just yet.

He may have broken one promise to her, but he wasn't about to break another.

He was going to prove to her that he loved her, even if it took forever. And he wasn't going to stop until they were back together.
