I jumped out of my brothers car and eagerly ran toward the beach, my bag in hand. I quickly settled down on the sand, my beach towel below me. I lay down and put my hands on the sand, burying my fingers beneath it. I soon felt a shadow loom over me and opened my eyes to see Leon looking down at me.
"Hey Leon," I smiled and looked at him through my glasses.
"Hey hot stuff. Want to come swimming?" Leon asked.
"Sure, I'll be down in a second," I said, removing my hat.
I slowly walked down to the water, the sand scalding my feet. Vince ran up to me and picked me up before throwing me into the water.
"Vince!" I screeched as the freezing cold water hit me.
"Yes my darling sister?" He smirked and came to join me. I sighed and looked up at him fondly.
"Te amo hermano," I smiled.
"También te amo, hermana," he replied before splashing me. I exclaimed in Spanish and splashed him back. I was suddenly lifted up in the water and turned to see Jesse holding me up.
"Don't you dare hermano," I warned but he proceeded to drop me into the water.
"Sorry Rora," he smirked. I shook my head and quickly dunked him under the water before Leon grabbed my ankles and pulled me under the water.
"What's with you chicos?" I asked exasperatedly. Leon chuckled and shook his head.
"Your like our sister Ari," he explained. "So we're going to treat you like it,"
"But you are literally my sister," Vince laughed.
"Really? I hadn't realised!" I said sarcastically. Vince smiled at me before splashing me again. "Vince! I swear I'll-"
"You'll what little sister?" He asked mockingly.
"Don't push me hermano," I growled and poked his chest. The boys softly chuckled and I sighed in defeat.
After a while of swimming and splashing I got out of the water. I dried myself off and put on my dress and shoes. I carefully folded my hat and put it inside my bag on top of my beach towel. I slipped on my sunglasses and tightly tying up my wet hair. I put my bracelet back in my bag and put my necklace on.
"There," I smiled, smoothing out my dress. I slowly walked back to the car, swinging my bag back and forth. I sat down in my brothers car and stared down at my hands. My brother started up the car and softly put a hand on my shoulder.
"You okay. Dads givin' you a hard time?" He asked, starting to drive off.
"Yeah but I'm okay. I need to stay with him to get money for Dom," I nodded. "I feel so useless. Staying with him is the only thing I can do,"
"You can race. You can even beat Dom," my brother comforted. I smiled softly and shook my head.
"I need to look after Jesse. If I'm caught in a race, I can't bail him out," I said.
"He can look after himself hermana," Vince reassured me.
"He's a kid. Excuse me if I don't believe that," I said and the rest of the ride was quiet.
I walked into the shop and sat down on Doms lap straight away.
"Hey guys," Mia said as I walked past and the others walked into the shop.
"Hey Mia," I called back and turned to Dom, still comfortably on his lap.
"Hey Ari. I'm sorry for shouting earlier," he said sadly. I softly kissed him on the cheek before placing my head on his shoulder.
"Your just trying to look after me, I get it," I said softly and traced the muscles under his sleeveless shirt. I could hear the others inside the shop and softly relaxed against Dom.
"Vince! Vince!" Mia suddenly yelled, making me jump. Dom chuckled and kissed me on the forehead before returning to his work. I could hear the others talking and out of the corner of my eye I saw Brian get up.
"No!" My brother yelled and started to follow Brian out. I slowly stood up and made my way next to the counter, just incase a fight started. "Try fat burger from now on, get a double cheese burger and fries for two ninety five fagot,"
"I like the tuna here," Brian said shortly and continued to walk to his car.
"Bullshit asshole no one likes the tuna here," my brother said, speeding up his pace.
"Your sister does," Brian said and winked at me. I sighed lightly and shook my head.
"That was a bad move. That line is likely to piss of a lot of people here," I whispered to Mia. Mia nodded with an unreadable expression on her face. Suddenly there was a bang and I turned back to the boys to see them fighting. I rushed toward them and tried to push them apart as Mia yelled at Dom.
"Jesus Christ Dom can you get out there I'm sick of this shit," Mia said exasperatedly to Dom as I pushed Vince back only for him to go running back at Brian. "I'm not kidding Dom get out there!" She yelled and Dom ignored her.
"Usted obtiene su culo hacia fuera aquí ahora Dom!" I yelled and he slowly got up. I sighed and continued to try and get the boys apart. Dom and Mia talked for a minute before Letty interrupted them.
"Dom!" She yelled and indicated her head toward me.
"Alright," he sighed and walked toward us. He then picked up pace once he saw me stumble back and land on my back, the crew following him. Dom threw Brian off Vince and slammed him down into the hood of his truck as Jesse and Letty helped me up and Leon held back Vince.
"Hey man, he was in my face," Brian defended, holding up his hands.
"Yeah well you pushed my girl down, so now I'm in your face," Dom said. Vince had managed to get out of Leon's face and tried to punch Brian again but Dom pushed him back forcefully, before he could do so.
"Relax! Don't push it! You embarrass me!" Dom yelled. "Look after your sister!"
I walked over to Vince and carefully lead him inside the shop murmuring things to him.
"Come mi hermano. Was that really necessary?" I murmured and took his hand. I slowly sat down with him and winced at the pressure suddenly put on my back.
"He hurt you. Of course it was necessary," Vince said and walked out.
