"You can't do this! I yelled, my palms against his chest. His dark eyes stared down at me as he walked forward pushing me along with ease. My small weak frame was no match for his demonic strength. He almost seemed amused at my attempt to stop him.

"Get out of my way, Amelia," he warned. I glanced behind me to see Wesley climbing to his feet. He wiped blood from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand.

"You're gonna kill him!"

He threw his head back and laughed a sadistic laugh. "I won't kill him. I'm just gonna break a few bones."

Damien's eyes met mine again. He grabbed my shoulders and moved me out of his way. Through his angry black eyes I could see he cared. If anyone had looked into those eyes they would have ran. They would have only seen evil. I was the only one to ever see him for who he really was.

He turned into a large fist of Wesley. I gasped as Damien was knocked backwards. It surprised me that he even got a shot on Damien. The fear I felt wasn't for Damien. It was for Wesley. Hitting Damien wasn't gonna hurt him. It was just gonna piss him off. When he looked up, his eyes were pitch black; not a bit of color in them. He hissed through gritted teeth and turned back to Wesley, who was ready to throw another punch.

Damien took a step forward and I reached for him. "Damien, Don't-" I was thrown across the room by a twitch of his hand. I landed on my back, the air in my lungs getting knocked out. I gasped for air as I tried climbing to my feet.

"I will kill you," Wesley said. "You don't deserve her. You don't deserve to set your evil eyes on her. Why don't you just go back to hell."

"Are you gonna send me there, Wesley? Are you gonna be her knight in shining armor?" Damien walked towards Wesley, his arms out stretched as if waiting to be attacked. "Come on, smite me with your Godly power!"

Damien swung a quick fist, connecting to the side of Wesley's head and knocking him backwards. He groaned in pain on the ground. "You think she loves you, Wesley? You think she wants you? Well she doesn't. She hardly looks your way." Damien kicked Wesley in the stomach. As he groaned in more pain, Damien knelt by his side.

"You wanna know how I know? Because she's too busy with me to see how truly pathetic you really are."

"You're nothing but a soulless demon feeding off her life. You'll kill her. Sooner or later she will be dead because of you and then what? What will you be without her, Damien? Hell doesn't even want you back."

Damien caught my eye as i leaned against the wall. I held onto my right arm which I was pretty sure was broken. I pleaded with my eyes for him to stop. I watched him hover over Wesley, anger in his eyes. I was scared he was gonna go back to Damien the killer. Everything I tried to prove to him was gonna be for nothing. "You can't love her. You are incapable of loving anything. Even before death you were a soulless dick."

Damien grabbed the collar of his shirt in his fist. "You talk like you know me."

Wesley's lips curled into a smirk. "Oh but I do know you, Damien Colton." Damien shifted on his feet. His grip didn't loosen on Wesley's shirt. "Have you told her of your hobbies before you took a trip downstairs? Damien here wasn't only a killer in death. He sold his soul after slaughtering his village centuries ago. His wife, Casady, burned with the rest of them. She was pregnant."

"Don't you dare speak her name! I'll kill you right here!" Damien hissed, his fist tight in a ball.

"Funny thing is," Wesley said, ignoring the threat. "You're wife looked a bit familiar. I couldn't quite put my finger on it at first. Why don't you check my right pocket."

Damien hesitated. He narrowed his eyes at him and reached inside Wesley's jacket pocket and pulled out something that looked like a picture. I couldn't see what it was. I could tell whatever it was, Damien only grew angrier. He swallowed hard. His hand that held Wesley's shirt dropped and he slowly stood. Wesley climbed to his feet as well, dusting himself off. I took a step forward but was thrown back against the wall. I grew frustrated.

"Whatever reason you're here, leave. You murdered your family. You're not murdering mine."

The picture fell from his hand and he looked up. "Family? You have no idea. Try being afraid that some evil would slip into your home late at night and kill your family. How about waking up to your four year old daughter torn into pieces, slipping in a pool of her blood. Try putting the man responsible behind bars only for the town to turn their back on you. Tell me, Wesley, have you ever been so desperate for revenge it got the love of your life and unborn killed?"

Something dark lingered in his voice. Something that truly frightened me. I watched unable to move as Damien stuck a finger hard into Wesley's chest. "You have no family." With a quick swing Damien's fist connected with Wesley's face knocking him unconscious. I was then dropped from the invisible hold against the wall. Slowly I walked closer to Damien stopping a few feet away. I bent to pick up the photo he had dropped and gasped when I saw the female that was in the photo. Fear struck for the first time since meeting him. He turned to me, eyes black and cold. He looked at me with so much hate. So much hunger...
