Here is the prologue and how this works (spoiler alert)
I try hard not to move every time this happens. Snip, snip, sni- I stop hearing the sound of the sharp scissors hitting my thin (enter hair color) hair. I want to turn around, but if the scissors are too close to my hair, half of it will be chopped off. Thump. I recognize that sound anywhere. The sound of a limp body falling on the floor, and then the sound of shaking. I look behind me, scissors far from my mothers hands. She stops every once and I while, and then continues her seizure. It hurts to see her like this. I grab the phone, and for the fourth time this week, my mother, (enter mom's name and last name), has been sent to the hospital.
