CHAPTER 31: SHE HAS BEEN WHAT?

Mikayla POV:

I still can't believe that Jung was able to get me a job at the hospital. For starters I am not even a fully qualified Doctor, I have not finished university and I am not yet highly skilled like these other doctors... like Jung. How on earth did he manage to do it? I called my mum straight away after Jung told me the good news but she just told me off for having a boyfriend and mentioned how she plans on coming over in November to check out what's really happening. Talking about November Chanyeol is turning the big 30 well international age.

"Dr. Mason, why isn't there any shifts for Dr. Kim for next month?" A nurse walks up to me with the rota in her hand. I take the rota out of her hands and begin to flip through the pages and she is right, why didn't he book any shifts? And it's not only for this month but November, December and January, is he going on some type of trip or something?

"Who made the rota?" I ask her thinking that all of this is probably one big mistake. Jung has never taken a holiday in his entire life so why all of a sudden is he taking 3 months off.

"The team leader" she responds making me even more confused, he wouldn't make such a careless mistake like this. "The weird part is when I asked him about Dr. Kim not being included, he shrugged it off as if he intended to leave him out" she adds making me extra extra confused, why would he do that?

"Ok I'll try and sort it out" I say to her before beginning to walk away whilst intensely looking at the rota, wait why does it say that I am junior doctor? That's Jung's position, what the hell is actually going on?

"Dr. Mason, Ms Choi needs someone to discuss her operation to her" one man leans on the desk in front of me reading off a patients notes trying to look slick and cool, he isn't wearing a doctors coat nor a nurses uniform so who on earth can he be?

"That's Jung I mean Dr. Kim's patient" I respond not even looking at him, I hate cocky and arrogant people. They always end up killing somebody.

"Well it says she is your patient here" he winks at me making me roll my eyes, "hey do you go and get some lunch?" He grabs my arm then licks his lips whilst eyeing me up and down.

"No thanks I already ate" I removal my hand from his grip making him scoff at me, who is this new guy anyways and why is he such a arrogant dick.

"Come on its just lunch" he keeps on nagging me whilst I'm trying to concentrate on reading the patients notes well Jung's patient, why isn't he coming to work and why do I have his bloody patient? "Did you hear me I said lets have lunch"

"And did you here me? I said I already ate my BOYFRIEND made me breakfast" I smirk at him before slamming the patients notes shut and walking away from him but no that doesn't stop him, he grabs my arm and pulls me back. This is Baekhyun all over again.

"Mr. Ahn I know you are here for personal issues but please let go of Dr. Mason" the team leader says, Mr. Arrogant lets go of my wrist making me beginning to rub them. "Dr. Mason can I talk to you for a second?"

"Good because I was wondering why Jung was not included in the rota" I say after chasing after him getting away from the other guy, for someone reason his face looks so familiar like as if I have seen him on Tv or a magazine.

"I have your answer right in here" he opens up the door to his office, I slowly walk in dreading what kind of answer he has. I walk up to his desk and take a seat in front of it before looking around the room pretending to search for this so called answer.

"I can't seem to find it" I say still pretending to look around.

"That's not what I meant but lets forget about it." He begins to scratch his neck, "anyways what I wanted to tell you was Dr. Kim has resigned" he explains.
