Twenty: Picture Perfect

What's My Purpose

It has been two and a half weeks since the guys have left for their mission. They have yet to find any leads on Team Taka and sent a messenger bird to Lady Tsunade letting her know the mission may take even longer than usual. Sai sits on the ground cooking a meal for the team while Naruto gathers fire wood and Sasuke fixes the tent.

Naruto comes back and sets the firewood down before locking eyes with Sasuke. Sasuke nods lightly and then both guys look back at Sai. Sai nods without looking at them to give them to knowledge that he is also alert. He stands up and walks towards Naruto with his back to the fire.

He mumbles, "Three....two....one..."

He and Naruto duck dodging a massive sword coming their way. Sasuke activates his sharingan and does a large fire style justu to engulf the surrounding area creating a barrier for anyone trapped inside. Naruto and Sai jump up and get into a fighting stance along with Sasuke as they have their backs towards each other.

A man with blue hair walks up and picks up the huge sword followed by a red head girl and tall orange haired guy. The blue haired guy chuckles and jabs the sword into the ground. "Well. Well. Well. If it isn't the Brink of Death. Long time, no see Sasuke."

Sasuke closes his eyes and folds his arms relaxing Naruto and Sai as they know what he's doing. Without even opening his eyes he talks nonchalantly. "What are you doing here Suigestu?" The red head girl snaps, "What does it matter to you traitor? You left us for that sorry excuse for a village. The same village you cried to us about that supposedly betrayed you. You're weak Sasuke. You don't deserve to carry the Uchiha name."

Sasuke chuckles lightly. Almost menacingly. Naruto and Sai feel his chakra change and they know he's activating his Mangekyo Sharingan. He continues to speak, "Aww Karin. What's wrong? I thought you loved me. I mean, you DO still love me, right?"

Karin scoffs, "As if I could ever love a spineless dick like you."

Sai jumps in, "So you don't love him directly, but you DO love his dick?" Naruto loses his composure a bursts out into fits of laughter. Sasuke chuckles to himself as well. 'Well played Sai.'

Karin gets annoyed and yells at him, "I WASN'T THINKING ABOUT HIS DICK YOU IDIOT!!!!" the orange haired guy steps forward and removes his hood. "You fell right into our trap Sasuke. And not only will we kill you and take your Sharingan, but we will also capture the nine-tails as well. As for the other guy, I'm sure Orochimaru will love to have a new test subject."

Sasuke notices to guy smiling. 'Jugo never smiles. Karin can never resist me. And Suigestu doesn't hesitate to crack a joke or two on Karin which results in her knocking temporary life out of the water head. Which means...'

Sasuke opens his eyes showing his Mangekyo Sharingan and screams, "Amaterasu!!!"

The flames around them then turn black and menacing. The three Taka members glare at Sasuke as Suigestu yanks the sword from the ground. Sasuke nods to Sai and Naruto telling them to get ready.

Sai pulls out a bunch of small scrolls and throw them all around the area. Naruto forms a hand sign summoning his shadow clones. Sai bites his thumb and does a few hand signs before slamming his hand on his larger scroll. "Ninja Art: Shadow Scroll!!!" Just as Naruto had done, Sai summons his own unique ink shadow clones. Each clone unsheathes its rapier and charges it with wind chakra.

Sasuke points at the three shinobi before them. "You guys are imposters. Them REAL Team Taka would have reacted totally different from you three. And that sword is a fake as Suigetsu needs to modify his arms into a more muscled bound one just to wield it. Plus, your teeth are normal. HIS is more sharp and shark like. Karin couldn't resist me even if she tried. No matter how angry she is she'd still be at my feet right now trying to seduce me. Even though it IS a bit annoying, I was actually entertained by her determination. And Jugo never smiles. EVER. Unless he's using his cursed mark and is inflicted a LOT of pain on his opponents."

With that being said, Sasuke rushes the imposter Jugo, Naruto rushes the imposter Karin and Sai battles the imposter Suigetsu one-on-one.

The guy swings his large blade towards Sai. Sai ducks and lands a hard kick to his gut sending him backwards. Once Suigetsu recovers he looks up and sees two dozen clones rushing him. One by one, he disposes of them. After the last clone is defeated he looks at Sai and smirks. His eyes widen once he notices a smirk on Sai's face. Sai holds up two fingers and each ink puddle shakes furiously before exploding all around Suigetsu.

Naruto easily pins Karin to a tree having learned a few Gentle Fist techniques from his wife and ties her up and is then alerted by Sai's attack on Suigestu.

After the explosion, Sai sidesteps a kick and looks directly into Suigestu's eyes smirking again. He then explodes knocking Suigetsu back and into a rock. Suigetsu looks up and grunts in pain. He sees the real Sai reading his little book on top of the rock. He growls in anger and tries to attack him only to be stabbed in both legs by two of Sai's clones. Sai looks up from his book and says nonchalantly, "Oh. The fight's already over? I should start paying you guys."

Sasuke toys with Jugo before sighing deeply and tripping him with a leg sweep. He then kicks him towards the sky and jumps teleporting behind him. Sasuke stream Chidori through his body as Naruto and Sai watch in amazement. Naruto recognizes the move from when Sasuke used it at the Chunin Exams. Jugo transforms into a cursed mark form unlike his original he swings backwards but is fist connects with a large purple shield. A large god-like form is around Sasuke who is still streaming Chidori. Sasuke's blank look now shows anger.

"How dare you impersonate friends of mine? I'm going to make sure you never live to do so again."

His Susano'o disappears along with him and Sasuke out of nowhere delivers and Chidori based Lion's barrage to the Jugo imposter mid air. The guy slams harshly into the ground and Sasuke charges downwards towards him with his sword flowing with both lightning and fire chakra.

Sai is stunned at Sasuke's strength and how easily he can manipulate chakra at will. Naruto jumps in front of Sasuke to stop him from killing the guy but Sasuke is so filled with anger he cant stop himself. Sai sees this and tackles Naruto out of the way at the last minute while Sasuke impales the guy with is blade in the shoulder near his heart.

Thinking the guy is dead, Sai runs over to scold Sasuke but Naruto, in sage mode, senses the guy's chakra and stops him. Sai then realizes that Sasuke only paralyzed him from the neck down using his charka manipulation to rip his nervous system apart.

"How'd you...? What the hell Uchiha?" Sai asks. Sasuke chuckles. "Hey, my fiance's a medic. I know the human body just as much as she does now." Sai then says, "What was that thing you summoned earlier?"

"That was my Susano'o. After I obtained my Mangekyo Sharingan, I was given access to three new Justus. And the Susano'o you saw was the complete Susano'o. Its not even perfected yet."

Sai sulks internally, 'Dickless has the nine-tails and sage mode. Uchiha has the Sharingan and can use jutsus that can't even be used by anyone other than a Uchiha. What do I have....?'

Inner Kiba, 'Deez nutz!!!!'

Inner Shino, 'Got EMMMM!!!!'

Inner Choji, 'Ha ha. Got emm!!!!'

Inner Shikamaru, 'So troublesome. This is really not the time.'

Sai seals the three ninja in his scrolls and the guys finally head home. The trip takes them another four days but they finally see the gates to the village late in the night. All missing their other half, the three begin to run at full sprint. Instead of going to the Hokage tower. They go their separate ways to their women. Naruto runs to the Hyuga compound, where he suggested Hinata stay while he was away. Sasuke rushes to the hospital knowing Sakura works late on certain days.

Sai runs to Ino's house. He notices her window is still open.

Ino is staring off at the moon and stars and begins looking down at the picture Sai drew of her. She sighs. Tears begin to form in her eyes as she misses him. His touch. His voice. His presence.

"Don't cry beautiful. I really don't like to see you cry."

Ino looks up in shock to see Sai standing before her. He walks up to his shocked girlfriend and wipes the tears that have stained her cheeks. She stares in shock as everything she had just cried for is right before her. She rushes him and wraps him tightly in a hug. Sai smiles and embraces her gently.

"It's okay. I'm home."
