Willow's POV

"He....did...WHAT?!" Hazel yelled at the top of her lungs bolting up on her feet. I had finished my little rant about my little encounter with Grey. Hazel was beyond furious, "How the hell can someone do that to a creature?!" She yelled then covered her mouth looking at me.

I waved a hand at her, "It's alright. I've been called worse." I chuckled and she huffed a breath of relief.

She started pacing in front of the couch I was sitting on. It only took maybe ten maybe fifteen minutes to tell the story and I had a few minutes to get ready.

"Well he did. And I have to start getting ready." I said standing up walking down the dark floor to the other room that I assumed was hers. I am right as always.

"Wait wait wait," She said grabbing my arm and pulling back slightly,"You aren't still going on that date are you? After what he did? Even though he didn't know it was you he still did it to a defensless creature!" She said with an enraged huff.

"Well what am i gonna say? 'Hey i refuse to go on a date with you because I'm the soul eater you tortured,'? No thanks." I said rolling my eyes pullng my arm out of her grasp. She waddled along as I entered her room to raid her closet. She didn't object, so I didn't stop.

When I entered her room it was what I had expected. The walls were a creamy beige and there was a small window seat with a few stuffed animals on it. Her desk on the opposite wall from the door was piled with books and pictures surrounding a computer. A printer with a phone charger above it was at the foot of her bed on a little stool. Her bed was a single with a blue and white old looking quilt. Hand drawn charcoal pictures of her and random little doodles plastered her wall around her bed. There was a side table with a lamp, a book, and a picture of her and Seth surrounded by falling leaves smiling brightly at me. Next to her side table was a full lenth mirror and a closet. Her floor was littered with dirty clothes and crumpled papers. I assume this is a normal teenager's room, but then again Hazel isn't normal.

Hazel walked over to her bed and I made my way to her closet ready to raid what I could.

"Tell him something came up with you're parents, or you have extra homework. Either way I'm 100% against you going out with the jerk of an alpha son." She said crossing her arms over her chest.

I shrugged at her while digging through her closet.

"Besides you can't be his mate you don't have a heart," She said with a matter of fact tone.

"Just because I don't have a heart doesn't mean I'm not his mate. Vampires don't have hearts and it's happened before that a vampire and a werewolf were mates. I know for a fact it isn't impossible. Besides I've had two werewolves claim me as their mate. I seriously doubt it's true. Its just instinct that they think I'm their mate. I was made to be the most beautiful thing in the universe," I said with a shrug. I feel like I am starting to want to be his mate. Nah probably just my hunger again.

"Two?"

"Two. Aj Goodson and Grey Henderson. Both claim me and both are lunatics," I said pulling out a yellow and black top throwing it over my shoulder. I wouldn't want to look like a bumble bee.

"I guess you're right, but if you aren't his mate and he finds his mate while he is with you, he will drop you faster than a hot potatoe! I don't think it's worth it. Once a werewolf finds his mate it's impossible to separate them. It is one of the strongest forces in the universe," She said sitting on the edge of her bed, which was small enough to be a cot. Hearing that the powers of a mate are one of the strongest powers in the universe ticked me off. I am the strongest force in the universe and nothing else.
