Chapter 9

(Eric's POV)

~The next day~

The boys had a gig tonight. Me, Lauren, Aiden, & Dad watched from backstage. The boys were singing and jumping around onstage. Then, Niall twisted his ankle and fell off the stage and landed with a THUD.

"Niall!" Louis cried.

He, Liam, Zayn, Harry, Paul, Lauren, Aiden, Dad, & I ran to him. Niall was unconscious.

"SOMEBODY CALL 911!" Paul shouted.

Everyone started to scramble and panic. Lauren & I tried everything to wake Niall up, but nothing was working. The ambulance came took Niall away. Lauren and I were worried. Dad drove us to the hospital. We ran in and We saw one of the nurses pushing Niall on a stroll away bed thingamabob. Niall was awake.

"Oh my gosh, Niall!" Lauren said happily. "I'm so glad you're okay. We don't know what we would've done without you."

"Aww...that's so sweet..." Niall paused, and looked at us funny. "Who are you?"

"Ummm...I'm Lauren. And this is Eric. We're your brother & sister." Lauren told her.

"Um...I never had a brother and sister." said Niall.

Oh no...he lost his memory!!

"Yes you did. We're standing right in front of you." I said. "Niall, don't you remember us?"

"Is that my name? I thought my name was Greg." said Niall.

"Niall, please remember us." Lauren pleaded.

Niall looked around. Louis, Zayn, Liam, Harry, Aiden, Paul, Dad, Lauren, & I were standing all around his bed thing.

"Why are there so many people around me? I'm getting claustrophobic here!" Niall said, getting a scared expression on his face.

We quickly backed away and gave him some space. The nurse pushed Niall away. Oh no. He hit his head hard enough to lose his memory. He doesn't know who we are, or who he is. Lauren started to cry. I started to panic. Dad out his arms around Lauren, and Louis was doing everything he could to calm me down. I couldn't calm down. What if we can't get Niall to remember everything? We'll lose Niall!

(Louis' POV)

Niall lost his memory. That's not good. Lauren started to cry, and Eric was in full panic mode. I tried everything I could to calm Eric down, but nothing was working. We can't lose Niall. We have to try to jog his memory. What do we do? The lads and I started talking about it.

"What are we going to do?" I asked.

"I don't know! I never had to deal with something like this!" Liam said.

"We can't lose Niall! They can't lose Niall." said Zayn. "If they do, they might kill themselves."

"Niall told me that Lauren tried to kill herself once. We can't let her do it again." I said.

"Maybe we should hit him on the head again. Maybe that'll get his memory to come back." Harry suggested.

"No. We don't want to hurt him. We have to think of non violent ways for his memory to come back to him." said Liam.

(Shane's (their dad) POV)

My son's memory is gone. What are we going to do? Eric & Lauren are crushed. We have to do something. But I don't know what. How do you get someone who has amnesia to remember everything again? I honestly have NO FUCKING IDEA.
