Demonic [HS AU]

I ran down the street, tears streaming down my face, the friget wind toching my soft skin. I was frightened, petrified, horrified, so many words couldnt explain what I was felling now. 

I had just came out of party with Julia, Nick, Jacob, and Rylie, my friends. We were walking to Rylie's house, which was almost a block away. Nick had suggested going a different route, through the woods. Everyone had said not to, except Jacob and Julia, Nick's girlfriend. So pretty much just me and Rylie had thought to go the normal way, who knew what was in the woods. But, we all agreed to going through the woods instead.

Worst mistake of our lives.

It was frezzing outside, mainly because of me wearing water high shorts. Going through the woods, Rylie had jumped saying she saw something. Jacob said it was probably a squrilel or bird. We kept walking, following Nick's lead. Suddenly Julia jumped as well, saying she sall something large and black, nothing like a bird or squrilel or any animal for that matter. Jacob was about to make another statement, when things all went wrong. 

Jacob abrutly fell to the ground and began choking, breathing irregular, hands grasping his neck. I was shocked, Rylie and Julia screamed in unison. I ran to Jacob's side to try to help him, but I couldn't because I coudln't breath nor move. Nick had yelled, "Julia!". I only could turn my eyes to wherer Julia was, but I regret doing that. Julia was not on the ground, but on a tree. She couldn't scream if she wanted to, because she was dead. Her body was hanging on a tree branch, going through her heart. 

Then I sall it, the monster who started this mess. Nick did to, and he was furious at him. He ran to the monster, and began fighting him, letting out his anger. It worked for a moment, but that moment instantly ended. The monster then grabbed Nick by the neck and snapped it. I was petrified at that moment and tried my hardest to run away, but I was still unable to move. Nick fell to the ground, motionless. I noticed Rylie had dissapeared until I heard her scream. She was holding her ankle and cried out in pain. The monster came to Rylie grabbed her ankle. He then twisted her ankle the oppisite direction making Rylie scream out in more pain. He then covered Rylie's mouth, and grabbed her head, and twisted around leaving her dead on the ground.

Then there was me.

 The monster looked at me and stood up, never leaving eye contact. I had never seen anything in my life like this before. Such deep, dark, black eyes full of nothing in them, just darkness. 

I screamed inside, not knowing what to expect. He covered my mouth, then signaled me to be quiet. Suddenly, I could breath again, and even move my body. That was my chance to run. I shoved the monster away from me, letting him fall to the ground. I ran as fast as I could, stumbling on branches and cutting myself multiple times. 

I was crying and frightened to death. No one was on the street to help me, it was bare and silent. I turned my head around and sall the man chasing me, hands in his pockects and calm. I turned my head around to see my head make contact with the cold, solid sidewalk. My ankle was broken, being twisted in a very ugly way. Shit, shit, shit. 

Turning my head again, I see the monster come to my side, about to bring me to my death.
