"Alright next stop is downtown. There's really absolutely nothing that goes on there to be honest. Maybe we should just drive through it and go somewhere else. Like," I pause for a moment trying to think of some place to take him, "oh my gosh do you want to see where I went to high school?" I said with a huge grin on my face.

He looked at me and laughed, "Yeah I would love that. Do stories come with this?"

"Oh, my high school stories aren't too fabulous. There were some good times but also bad times as well. But I have a few funny ones up my sleeve. If they will let us in I'll give you a quick tour."

"You can tell me the good and the bad. We all have bad memories and I want to get to know you so tell me everything."

I smile and let one hand off the steering wheel to grab his hand, "You're sweet."

"Well, I try. But thank you." He smiles back at me with his gorgeous smile that melts my heart.

As we drove to my high school we listened to country music while I was trying to think of funny stories that had happened. Not that my whole high school experience was terrible. I was never bullied or picked on I just wasn't a huge fan of socializing outside of my group of friends. I had a few rumors go around about me but everyone has at least one rumor about them spread throughout the school. I pulled up to the high school and hopped out of the car.

"The principle should be here. We are pretty tight," I say as I cross my index finger with my middle finger.

"Oh really? Were you a goody goody?"

"I did only miss one day out of my whole high school career but the principle just knows my whole family"

"Only one day? Are you serious? Did you go to school sick?"

I laughed, "Honestly, yes. I hardly got sick but if I did I would still go to school excluding that one day where I was puking my guts out and lost ten pounds."

"Yikes."

Once we reach the front doors I ring the security bell that flashes a camera on us so the workers know who's coming in. My old principle comes to the door, "Bridget, what brings you here?"

"Hey, Mr. Garett. I actually was wondering if I could show my friend around the school. He's in town and I thought it would be cool to show him my high school. Scotty this is my old principle Mr. Garett."

They both shake hands and say, "It's nice to meet you."

"Of course, come on in. I didn't know you were friends with country singers."

"Well, you knew I always had big dreams." I shot him a smile then look at Scotty with a smile even bigger. "Thanks, Mr. Garett. We will be done in no time."

He waves us off and we head down the halls. "Okay, let's start with freshman year shall we?"

He grabs my hand and intertwines it with his, "Yes, perfect."

I walk to the freshman hallway and show him where my locker was. "My locker was never organized. I had pictures everywhere and things hanging all over it. Just a mess. That was Audrie's locker," I point to a locker across the hall. "My whole group of friends were pretty much in the same vicinity and tended to clog up the hallways during passing periods. Oh, this is the class I got yelled at and kicked out of once."

"Woah. Tell me more. You, sweet innocent Bridget, got kicked out of class?"

I laughed and shoved him lightly, "Yes, I was uh... throwing paper balls across the room."
