This is the first story I've written so please don't judge harshly, I may write a second to the series if it works well.

The world is in shambles, left a chaotic mess after the nuclear war between the nations of the world. The surface of the earth is nothing but desert terrain and the horrific remains of cities ruined by direct nuclear bomb strikes. Bandits and Looters roam the desert dunes, and what remains of civilisation lives within walled off cities like cattle in a pen. Over the few safe havens in this wasteland rules Phaedra, a powerful military command force that took the survival of humanity in to their own hands. However, not everyone inside the walls is content with being treated like mindless cattle, not everyone wants to stay trapped within the confines of the cities, not everyone wants Phaedra ruling over them like some Overlord. These people came together to form a resistance. A resistance known as Spes Hominum, or The Hope of Mankind.
