Authors Note: hey everyone so I really messed up in my last chapter. I meant to switch POVS after Callie asked if Brandon would stay with her. I meant to switch it to Brandon's Pov there! Chp. 22
Brandon's Pov
I wake up to screaming I look over my shoulder and see Callie shaking. I sit up and lean over. I shake her shoulder lightly whispering "Callie,Callie,Wake up." It doesn't work. She continues to thrash around and shake. I shake her a little more aggressively and say louder "Callie please wake up! Come on Cal!" I do this for minutes until she finally wakes. She bolts straight up and just stares at me. I look into her eyes and see hurt and fear. She doesn't say anything and we just stay like that for many minutes until she breaks my glance and jumps into my arms.
"B-B-Brandon d-don-don't let go" she says in between sobs "Hey shhhh, it's okay. I won't let go okay Callie. I never will. I love you so much. It was just a dream.. Shhh." I whisper in her hear as she continues to sob into my shoulder. I can feel her nod against my shoulder and she starts to calm down a little. I remover my hands from around her and lay her back down. We both lye down and I wrap my arms around her waist.
Minutes later I hear Callie ask "Brandon?" "Yeah?" I say as I move my head so I am looking into her beautiful eyes. "I can't go back to sleep." I sigh and say "Neither can I" "Brandon?" Callie asks again "Yes" I say "I just wanted to tell you how much I love you. Your my best friend you know that?" She says looking up at me. I smile and kiss her forehead. We just lye there until after about 3 hours we both fall back asleep.
