Sorry for not posting reader-chans!!!!! My laptop is working again so i'll be able to put up a cover for the book soon!:D

Also, sidenote, what do you think about Walker x Jay? I know it's my own story and all, but still!

Jay's POV

You wanna play a game? It's called guess what Jay is doing today. So guess. If any of you answered 'training' you are correct!

Welcome to my life! Now don't get me wrong, i'm grateful that the DEO took me in as one of their own, but seriously. I need some down time. I bet if I begged Walker for some time off....no...I couldn't do that to him. He would lose his job if He let me loose for a few hours, let alone days. I'm being weak. I can suck it up and face the horde just like I did in juvie. Yes, I went to "juvenile detention". No, not on purpose. In Oklahoma, the feds can peg you for ANYTHING. I was walking around my backyard with a black hoodie on, BECAUSE IT WAS COLD, and there just happened to be an officer patrolling my street. So what happened? He dragged me away. Also since I didn't know about my powers yet, he stuck me in a home. Dumb cop.

I was just about to go to the briefing room when Walker stopped me in the hall.

"Hey Jay!"

"Oh, Hey Walker."

"Why the long face?"

I looked down and debated whether or not to tell him it's the anniversary of my parent's....

"Um....i-i'll tell you later..."

"Alright...everything okay?"

"N-no. Not really."

"Okay. Well, how about we talk about it over supper?"

Wait...he wasn't asking me out on a date was he?

"Sure. Where should I meet you?"

"Cafe romero. 6:00."

"I'll be there!"

Cafe romero is the place where I got my first coffee in National city. It wasn't the best place to go for coffee, but it was home. The owner has taken me in like family and even offered me a job, so I took the opportunity and am now a proud employee! Now the question remains, what is Walker doing? I mean, in our day and age asking someone out to have some coffee is like asking them out. But, then again, it's where we go to talk stuff out and get a drink after practice. Ah what the heck. I'm over-thinking everything again.

After I had my daily kickboxing class, it was 5:59. Shoot! I ran back to my house and threw on a tank top and basketball shorts and ran to the Cafe. I stopped about a block away so no one would see me. I casually walked the rest of the way to the Cafe and opened the door to find Walker had already gotten my Cafe latte and was sitting in a booth waiting for me.
