The eerie atmosphere sparked excitement into the young's eyes as he looked up at the rocky path. He continued the hike up the long, winding hill, which looked like it had fresh footprints. As he came to a halt, he noticed something that was certain to change him. The path had led him to.. an abandoned amusement park.

When most boys find a scary, abandoned theme park for kids, they'd tuck tail and leave, but this was Eren Yeager we were talking about. He yearned for trouble; the feeling of attention was a good enough substitute for love and affection he would never receive. In the course of his life, he would be just near the brink of love, but it always remained in the same spot, just out of reach. Life was hard sometimes, but he was not complaining, whereas most would crumble under the amount of stress, sadness, and absence of affection.

As he observed his surroundings, the decor stood out. It appeared rust was the main colour scheme. Specks of orange and yellow peeked through from the past. On the right was a ferris wheel, a rusted brown colour and yellow mixed together. The wind was pushing the carts forward, as if it were alive, causing an annoying screeeeech. Next he saw the bumper cars, a childhood favourite of his. They were scattered throughout the arena with poles connecting to a ceiling, long gone from its previous state. Lastly, there was an area which had previously housed games, littered with broken milk bottles, dented and dusty darts, scattered fragments of balloons, even the skeletal remains of goldfish long parched, keeping the theme or creepy.

As he was walking, he noticed a big, black coffin esque object, leaned up against the ferris wheel, piquant his interest. As he sauntered over, he muttered, "What did I get myself into?"

When he arrived near the object, he opened it, its contents made the boy gasp audibly.

Fewer than five seconds after it opened, tons of crows flew out. Seconds ticked by, minutes, and one hour before Eren stood from his hiding place, behind the ferris wheel's operation building. As he bagan to walk back to the large compartment, a big, booming voice rung out, "Hands off my property, brat."
