I had recently found a job at the new and improved Freddy's Pizzeria. I had never been to this new pizzeria yet, but I had heard that the kids liked it better than the old one. I woke up at 11:30 and quickly got ready to go to work for the first time. I got there at midnight. The office was weird. It had vents on the left and the right. The worst part, THERE WERE NO DOORS. Why were there no doors??!! I sat down and looked through the cameras carelessly. All of the animatronics were in there correct places. I could totally understand why the children liked these new animatronics better than the old ones. They weren't as bulky, they were shinier, and they didn't smell as bad as the old animatronics because these new ones could be cleaned. Then something on one of the cameras caught my eye. One of the animatronics was lying on the tile floors of Kid Cove. It was a pink and white fox. It's parts were sprawled around all over the floor as if someone threw all of it's parts in different directions. The fox would occasionally twitch, making me flinch. I decided to check it out. I crept down the hall while wearing a Freddy mascot head so the other animatronics wouldn't get suspicious of me. I flashed my flashlight down the hall. Then, I finally found the right door that led to Kid Cove. I went inside, closed the door behind me, and locked the door. I took off the Freddy head and carefully put it on the floor as to not make any noise. Sadly, I accidentally dropped my flashlight, piercing the silence. My gaze immediatly snapped toward the animatronic fox. I expected her to be lying on the floor as she was before, but she wasn't there. She was hanging on the ceiling. Stray wireswere dangling from her body that occasionally sparked, causing a flash of light to cover the room.
"PlEaSe FiX mE" she said.
Her voice sounded weird. It would screech and jitter in the middle of every word. Her left eye (the black one with the white pupil) would drift around as the other one was trained on me.
"What is your name?" I asked the fox.
"ThEy CaLl Me MaNgLe" she said.
All of a sudden, she dropped to the floor in front of me. A few parts went flying. She screeched and hissed loudly. I walked all over the room and picked up all of the stray pieces. Some of these parts had to have been ripped off. It couldn't have been done by accident. You heard a few of the other animatronics bang on the locked door. I gathered all of the pieces and put them in a pile in one of the corners of the room. I got closer to Mangle. She twitched a bit.
"Don't worry, Mangle, I'll fix you" I whispered.
