Human Update 1.1 Progress 1%..

It was a usual morning just like any other day,except when I woke up I noticed someone in the corner of my eye "Human Update 1.1 progress 1%.." When I was done reading it I thought someone put something on my glasses so I felt my face to take them off,but I noticed them sitting on my dresser where I put them last night. So I blinked a few time to make sure I wasn't seeing things but It was still there "Human Update 1.1 progress 2%.." I couldn't stop looking at it,but I decided to drive anyway when I was fully dressed on my way to my car my neighbor called out to me. "Hey!..uh what's going on with this whole Human Update 1.1 thing?" I let out a sigh of relief now I knew I wasn't crazy and I said back "I don't know it very odd to say the least maybe uhh I don't know." He walked back in his house and I jumped in my car to go to my job.

One my way to work I turned the radio on and tuned it to the news a reporter came on the radio "Good morning everyone you're listening to channel 8 news, this just in a mysterious update is happening to the human race,we have a few people coming on the show to talk about this whole situation." then next words he uttered made me drive in silence. "Could this be a new dawn of the human race or will this update destroy the human race we'll be back after this commercial break." For the rest of the drive there were no sound only manic thoughts racing through my head "What's going on,why us,why me, I'm only 23 years old i'm not ready to die!"I took in deep breaths and drove into the Microsoft parking lot.

I was shocked there were on 2 cars there besides mine it was Mr.Gates Porsche 959 Coupe and my brothers Mustang. I walked into the building it was like a ghost town I walked up stairs and found them both they were shutting down everything from computers to servers for computers. I said to him "Mr.Gates what's going on?" he replied in a depressed tone "We're shutting down everything,it's the end of humanity as we know technology has advanced to much for just primitive computers and servers." As he shut down the last computer I look at the corner of my eye again "Human Update 1.1 progress 23%." We all walked out of the building and he gave us both very generous paycheck for 100,000$ and said "Thank you both for working for me it we survive this thing I'll see you next monday." he let out a sad laugh got in his Porsche and left.

A few hours passed and it was now nearing night the whole day me and my brother raced around empty streets did everything we could in the time we had we were not at an empty bar eating and drinking. They looked at the clock it was now eight at night and he looked into the corner of his eye it now said "Human Update 1.1 Progress 99%..." As the update started they both collapsed to the floor and were put into a sleep like state. If anyone were to see them they would be asleep but inside there heads a robotic voice said to them "Welcome to the new human race please select attributes you would like to fuse to your genetic structure." After this update everyone was a "Super" as some people called them others called them the devil in human skin. Everyone was now some kind of super soldier a couple months after everyone was now adjusting to their new life,when the government made a live broadcast and they announced "Welcome to a new age of war now you're all aware of your Update that took place a couple months ago we did that to all of you,but before you get upset if you try anything we a have a button that could kill you all in an instance,anyway instead of sending out regular men to fight are wars we deiced the human race needs a little upgrade." We were now the governments slave for fighting their wars while they hide here at home we were unstoppable we cleared every enemy that tried to fight us. They nicknames us "The Terminators" we now had the best military out of everyone,the world was scared and we didn't want to fight but now it's kill or be killed.

We couldn't escape many tried and were killed,some managed to barely escape others like me just decided to stay and fight. Now most of the world was under a dictator they had us take over countries Russia,Germany,China, United Kingdom, you name it and we're probably ruling it and if we don't have it were most likely on are way to take it over right now. We can't be matched but I'm tired of all of this I've never wanted to kill anyone,but now it my job to. I'll find a way out eventually I'm sure how I'll do it but..I'm going to try even if it end up killing me at least I'll be out of it.
