Greg sighed contently feeling his girlfriends pitch black curls resting against his shoulder, he nuzzled her temple relishing the gentle giggle slipping through her teeth. This, this is what he had been missing for so long, whenever he and his ex wife were in bed there was nothing but a cold emptiness, even when they did kiss or hug, sometimes he thinks it was especially when they did that sort of thing.
With Yasmine however, everything was just... different. The bed was no longer cold, the cold spots were all replaced with a gentle caressing warmth. He never wanted to leave her hold, nor did he ever want to let go of his hold on her. It was just too perfect. He never thought he would love after his wife, though this girl seemed so hell bent on proving he would. Greg wasn't complaining.
He never wanted to leave the bed, looking at the clock Greg let out an audible sigh.
"Whats wrong?" Yasmine asked, Greg looking over to her to see her brow crease with a tad worry, she was always so caring and worried about him. It was one of the things he loved most about her.
A smile broke across Greg's face, "Nothing, just thinking of a reason why I have to leave the bed. Not that I want to," Greg worried she may have taken that the wrong way, "Just I have work and right now.. honestly work just isn't a good enough reason." One night off the job surely wouldn't hurt right? Sherlock was on the case anyway...
-------------------------
Yasmine lay awake on the bed waiting for her boyfriend to leave the shower he was taking, no matter how much she had tried to reason with him he wouldn't go to work. In some ways she was annoyed at his stubborness but the feeling that overtook her the most was releif. She hated when Greg had to go out on duty, it wasn't just that she missed him, he was a Detective Inspector he could get shot at in a case or worse...
Before she could upset herself Yasmine shook those thoughts from her head, "No," she thought, "No stop it, you have a wonderful night in with your boyfriend and soon you can spend all the time you want with him, when he's not on duty at least." Greg's divorce papers were getting sent through, they just wanted to wait till his ex wife signed the papers for anyone else to find out, her brother John Watson didn't even know.
Granted Yasmine's job wasn't exactly safe either, she was hired by Sherlock's brother Mycroft to work at MI6, she wasn't on assignment at the moment so she had returned to Bakerstreet with the intentions to keep watch over Sherlock and the others, she grew a strange sentiment for them. Possibly due to her brother but at the time it was still an alien notion to be sentimental about people other than family, she had never been one for sentiment. Then she met him..
Greg Lestrade, the dashing and suave Detective Inspector, she had met him when Sherlock dragged her along for a case a few months back, she can't remember what for, a triple homicide possibly? Probably, Sherlock liked those the best.
Then there he was, he was talking to Sally, ugh how Yasmine loathed Sally, she was such an idiot. Yasmine doesn't blame Sherlock for hating her and Anderson, I don't see why they have to be such morons. The least they could do is pick up a book every once and a while, or pretend to be somewhat intelligent. Regardless, her idiotc yelling about Sherlock didn't ruin the shine that seemed to be luminating around this man. They started talking at the crime scene and things just... escalated from there.
Her thoughts were disrupted by a text, who was it texting her at 8pm? Dannielle.
Dannielle had been Yasmine's closest friend for a few years now, she knew that she worked for James Moriarity but honestly she didn't care. Aslong as she didn't cause too much harm Yasmine promised to turn a blind eye, Greg knew who Dannielle worked with but he promised to turn a blind eye too. He may be a Detective Inspector but even he has a heart and Dannielle was a close friend of his too. Dannielle knew far well if London was threatened by James that the DI wouldn't turn a blind eye anymore but for now all was well. James was happy with the smaller crimes such as murder, taking down cities in America and such for now.
