falling for the first time-a Kyler Shelley story

Chapter 1: meeting him

Jacksonville. I've lived here my whole life and as much as i hate to admit it i have no life🤷🏻‍♀️. My only friends consist of my dogs Bear and Attila. but todays pride day and I'm going to the riverside arts market, maybe i'll meet some friends, who knows. I threw on a shirt that said "orlando strong" and some white shorts that had the rainbow painted on the back pockets. i did some facepaint and tossed my hair into a messy bun, i don't really know what sexuality you'd call me, i just like who i like and has a great personality, but if i had to put a label on it i'd say i was pan? anyway, i grabbed my keys and Got into my truck, drove to the event and parked. When i got out i was pretty awkward, I didn't really have any friends, all of my friends moved away after they turned 18, me I decided to stay until i finished highschool, as i was walking around i stopped at a stop with really cool homemade art work, i picked up a little necklace made from metal that was bent and twisted into pretty shapes. "i'll take it." I purchased my necklace, slipped it on and decided to get something to eat and sit down to watch some performances. Soon after i sat on the steps with my pansit and coke a blonde boy and brunette sat next to me, the blonde looked at me and i smiled at him and he smiled back, after about 10 minutes they moved closer and the blonde one spoke up, "are you alone?" "yeah, all my friends kinda moved away when they turned 18 so i don't really have anyone left in Jacksonville." His friend and him grinned at eachother. "Well I'm Ryan Stalvey and this is Kyler Shelley, you just met two new friends, whats your name?" I blushed, "my names Brittany, Brittany Solomon, nice to meet you guys" this time it was Kyler who spoke "we're planning on going back to my house after pride, you wanna come with?" I smiled, "sure, that sounds nice!"

The rest of pride was spent getting to know Kyler and Ryan as well as having fun with everyone, Turns out Ryan is the young trans male i saw on the news awhile back, I'm glad him and his mom are happy together now, i had a similar situation with mine when she found out I didn't just like guys. After Pride i followed Kyler back to his house in my Truck, when i walked in behind them i was knocked on my ass by 2 dogs "AWEH PUP PUPS!!!!!" I started loving on them. "Kyler i think she loves the dogs more than us" i winked "pretty much boys" Kyler put a hand over his heart and acted hurt
