"You have won exclusive tickets to watch BTS live!" Read the computer screen.
"Bts? What is bts?" I turned to my friend who's eyes were so big they looked like they were about to pop out of their sockets. "What's bts?"
My friend, Alice, starred at me mouth wide open. "Bts is a kpop group I thought you knew!!"
I sighed, not being one to join contest or raffles, of course when Alice forces me to join a contest to win tickets for something I know nothing about I win. I dont have anything against those who join, but I like to work for everything, not win it for free. Alice, however, didn't understand that and always thought of me as a goodie goodie for always going the long way instead of the short way.
Alice firmly put a hand on my shoulder. "Luckily there are two tickets so you can take me right!!"
I wouldn't want to disappoint my friend so I nod in response.
Alice jumped with joy screaming, "I'm going to watch Bangtang boys!!" Meanwhile I sat there in awe by how loud she could scream.
After a few long hours of Alice screaming, caused my mom to yell for her to go home. She hugged me and went on her way still chanting she was going to watch the kpop group. I was too tired to deal with the whole situation, sliding on my headphones I sat down and listened to the group I was going to meet and watch at the concert.
(Listen to "Just One Day")
The music was so soothing I ended up falling asleep. I opened my eyes to see the clock read 3 am, I needed to get ready for work. I worked as an assistant for a local photographer, Carl. He was an old family friend and decided to take me under his wing when my interest in photography sparked. This was not an easy job. For example, today the clients wanted a photo of the sun rising as a background. I am no morning person making this very troublesome, but "you must satisfy the customer".
"Mom, I'll be heading to Carl's house be back around 1." I yelled even though the house would remain quiet I still announced my departure.
Equipping my headphones to continue listening to bts I realized I hadn't watched the videos but heard from Alice that they had amazing choreography. I had no time to watch any being as late as I already was.
"Fireeeeeeeeee." I ended up singing along to only the English lyrics and muttering the rest and somewhat dancing to Carl's house. I had to admit the music was very catchy.
The job went well, every now and then I would get caught dancing along to my music and being corrected, but other than that everything went well.
"Elizabeth, What's up with you today?" Carl asked.
"Alice forced me to join a contest for a concert and long story short I won the tickets and honestly the group isn't that bad so I'm pretty excited."
"Excited? Aren't you usually opposed to getting anything from anyone for free."
"Didn't say I agreed with the way I received them but there isn't much I can do now. Alice is excited to go, so it's not like I can reject it."
Carl shook his head but didnt want to continue the conversation, then his eyes lit up. "Why don't you take my camera and take some photos, it'll be like an exercise to practice your photography."
"Really? Yeah that'd be amazing!" I was happy and surprised Carl would trust me with his camera. His camera was everything, his source of income, and his way of life. The responsibility I think was well earned, now I was more than excited.
Carl dropped me off at my house and just then I received an email with the info for the tickets and when/where the concert was.
I sent the info to Alice, just as I did she sent me loads of thank yous' and yes'. I smiled, happy that she was excited. She's always busy with school work so I could understand why she was excited, or she wanted an excuse to not do any school work. I marked in my calendar, April 9, we had to leave at 4am latest being 5am to get there early. Living 4hrs away was the only bummer, driving was not my strongest suits, but we'll get there in one piece. We didn't have to wait in line just get there and we would be able to enter and get to our seats first. I still had no idea how they looked but I was too lazy to search them up so I continued to listen to them through Spotify and once again fell asleep.
Days went by and I began to forget that I had even won the tickets. Then the concert was only a week away and Alice began a count down till we were leaving to the concert. I didn't have time to worry about it so I continued with my daily life excited, but not enough to go crazy. Alice on the other hand was jumping off the walls saying how excited she was to meet her "bias", she confused me so much. And I didnt want her to explain a long list of what a bias is or whatever else she wanted to say.
"Eli! Can you believe tomorrow we're going to head out for the concert!!!"
"Yeah we should sleep so we can wake up early."
Alice frowned. "Why do you have to be so uptight can't we stay up till midnight?"
I stayed quiet and began to get ready for bed as a response. Alice huffed and rolled onto the bed muttering something along the lines of "you're no fun."
No fun was right I'm a 90 year old trapped in an 19 year old body. I was always more mature than others, and I'm not ashamed of it. Though I did suck at school which is the main reason I'm not in college. I wasn't a genius I had average C or B never above, except in Physical activity and anything to do with art.
I woke up to my alarm clock going off and as I expected Alice did not budge. Getting ready I simply put on a black pair of skinny jeans with a white flowing shirt and a black jacket just in case it became cold. I tied my long straight black hair into a messy bun. Turning towards Alice I tried to wake her up to no avail. I decided to dress her up, since she was practically my sister it didn't bother her, and ended up carrying her into the car along with snacks and a sweather for Alice.
In my car I drove down the road my headphones blasting music since Alice didn't like my music and was too tired to listen to any loud sounds. I quickly made a stop at Carl's to pick up the camera.
"Be careful with it remember this is my life so don't break it."
"I won't you can trust me Carl. You'll see your life soon enough!" I laughed returning to my car.

It had already been about 3 to 4 hrs since we had left the house and we were reaching our destination.
Alice finally started to wake up flipping around in the passenger seat. "Alice wake up!"
"Huh? What? How did I end up in the car?"
I giggled. "You stayed up and I had to dress and carry you to the car."
Alice sat up starring at me and began to hyperventilate. "Concert hall Oh my god! Oh mY GOD!!!"
I shook my head at her trying to find parking, it was packed. There was no parking to be found and then there were crowds of girls in front of the doors screaming names.
"OH MY GOD HOSEOK!!" Alice scream cried.
I sighed in relief, finally finding a parking space. It was very far and once I parked Alice made a run for it, towards the crowd of girls screaming Hoseok and j-hope. I followed as I grabbed the camera and headed towards Alice.
"Alice we have to go to the front and show them our tickets did you print yours out?"
Alice looked at me as if she'd seen a ghost, her nose scrunched up as she was about to cry.
"Alice why do you this? Im sure if we show them the ticket information they'll let you in no need to cry about it."
She wiped her tears away. "Really?"
"Yes and if not you can have my ticket I dont even know the group so there's no reason for me to go."
Alice smiled and hugged me to show her appreciation.
We arrived at the front desk and I told them the problem. They said they might be able to but they would have to speak to their supervisor to double check. The supervisor seemed to be having a bad day and decided to take it out on us.
"Yeah sorry, but this wont do. It specifically said to print it out so only you will be able to pass." He said pointing at me. "And you'll have to go sorry. They're not my rules."
I sighed not wanting to argue. "Can I let her go instead of me?"
"Hmm No the name on here is Elizabeth and that's you not her sorry." He said in a snobby tone.
"Then I'll buy her a ticket."
"We're sold out."
I pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration.
"Let's just go Alice if you can't get in then I'd rather just go home."
"No."
"Huh? Come on we can go watch a movie or something."
"No."
"Alice you can't get in and I don't want to leave you here by yourself what kind of friend would I be."
"If you can get me an autograph from J-hope then it will be worth it." Alice smiled with her thumb up. I knew she was very sad, but that's how Alice was she always smiled even when she was sad or was going through a hard time.
"No I cant do that."
"Come on you won the tickets so you should get to go, just get me an autograph and I'll be happy enough I promise."
The concert opened and were letting many in. Alice pushed me along while she said "it'll be fine, I'll be fine just enjoy it for us both."
I entered the concert hall and it was full to the brim. They had given me a platium colored bracelet that read platinum guest. Everytime I thought I was lost a staff member would lead me to another hall till at last I reached a room far up in the concert. I was amazed by the size of the buildingand also guilty because I left Alice outside. I sighed and sat down on a chair facing the stage there was a clear view of the stage and even screens of the stage.
The lights turned off in an instant, signaling that the show was about to begin.
They all stood there introducing themselves.
"Hello! I am J-Hope!"
This was the guy Alice was talking about I had to remember. He spoke charismaticly, using his hands and movements a lot when he spoke. I could tell why Alice liked him and chuckled to myself.
None really caught my attention but they weren't bad looking.
It was already coming to an end and it left me wanting more. The stage was now empty and they left to the back stage. Their dancing and voices complimented eachother so well, it left me flabbergasted. I even began to sing along to the last two songs. Which was not the best of decisions since the two staff members who stood at the door laughed, at that moment I didn't care and kept singing but now I have to face them.
Both staff members smiled at me as I walked up to them. "Miss My name's Thomus. Grace and I will be escorting you to the meet and greet."
I nodded, becoming nervous that I was about to meet the same people who danced and sang on that stage. This was the first time I met famous people. I shook as I walked down the hall towards crowds and lines of screaming teenaged girls.
