SACRIFICE LED TO BEING DISOWN.

"Stop beating around the bush and tell me Lulu, i will be running late soon" said Maya's dad as he checks his wristwatch for almost the fifth time since Maya came in, she was still in her sleeping much mini shorts and it's top,then her hair loose and wavy, that was three weeks after her first vist to Kaseem, yeah cause she made it a habit of going there to see him almost every day, and each visit she buys him lots of edible things which he keeps with the warden who is now really fond of Maya because of the gifts she showers on him.

Maya came into her dad's part that morning around 8:30 am, Thahani was already there in his sitting room, he was on a one seater sofa while she was by the dinning table and stirring the tea she made for him and was also in her nighty, "guess what, i ordered two new chandeliers for you and Maya's bedroom" he said as she stirs his tea, "wow Papa you are simply the best" she said with a smile as she hands him the mug of tea, "and i had already made your choice, i have chosen the most super of the two for you" he added after a sip of his tea, "but, won't Maya be mad" asked Thahani sitting down on the arm of the sofa he was, "no, or yes besides who is new to her complains and nags" he said and the two chuckle, "yeah talk about me like am some sort of a pain in the neck" said Maya and the two turned and saw her by the door, "oh Lulu, i was just.... "Save it" Maya interrupted Thahani who was now on her feet, Maya walked towards them and sat down on the other one seater sofa facing her dad, "good morning Dad" she said calmly, "morning, am blessed today you wished me good morning" he said with a dry smile, "actually i never knew saying good morning is wishing someone to have one, guess i missed that one" said Maya with a smirk, her father shook his head.

"Em dad, you know am a commerce student in high school" she said with a smile
"Yes both of you are, cause you showed interest in managing my three companies and Thahani is already in her first level" he said with pride
"More like you made us have interest in that" she quickly added, "get to the point" he said
"Alright, you see you promised i will get the company in Japan while Thahanu gets the one in nigeria, while you focus on the other in abuhdabi"

"Alright, for now idontwannastudybussinessadminstration anymore in college" she said very quickly,
"say that again and slowly" said her dad amused, "I DONT WANNA STUDY BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ANYMORE IN COLLEGE" she said slowly and ended with a grin, he kept quiet for some seconds and asked "why and what do you want to study"
"I want to study Law" she quickly added,
"Why"
"Well um.... cause i i i have to, cause, a friend of mine is in jail without no lawyer" she stammered, her dad gave a chuckle "so you want to go and study law for seven good years, for a friend of yours who is in jail cause he or she has no lawyer for the mean time" he asked looking at his daughter as if she is crazy and she nodded,

"God, what do i expect from a 18year old" he said almost to himself, "so did it occur to you that they may get a lawyer before you finish your first semester C. A" he asked, "they won't" she answered confidently, "you sound confident, why" he asked now sounding interested, "well, for the past a year and some months, his mother who is a chief magistrate here in kano couldn't get any lawyer for her son or will i say the lawyers are so scared of something" she said,

"Oh, then in that case, i wish you luck, i will talk to the dean of the faculty of Law, that depends on the university you choose here in nigeria, you can still manage the company that way" he said standing up and adjusting his collar, "wow, Thahani says and i quote you are the best father" she said, "Maya" called Thahani warninly, okey, just kidding, you are the best in the world, i know, i have always known" she said and hugged him,
"But what is he accused of" he asked suddenly, "umm, murder" she said, "what?, murder case, you know that is a serious case right" he asked sounding alarmed, "yeah, but i have faith" she said
"who did he even murder" he asked, "accused dad, accused"" she quickly said, "who" he asked coldly looking at her, "dad,you will be running late it's past 9" said Thahani trying to pull him towards the door, "no, answer me,
