But they never noticed

The smile got less wider
My eyes shone less brighter
The sleeves, they got longer
But they never noticed

I talked a little lesser
My laugh grew faker
My interest, it wavered
But they never noticed

The night, it got haunting
The days more exhausting
The voices more taunting
But they never noticed

The music became louder
The shadows grew darker
The light, a little more farther
But they never noticed

The blades got longer
The meals got lesser
The pills emptied faster
But they never noticed

I became invisible
My voice, inaudible
My scars, more detectable
But they never noticed
