Chapter 3 : Reunion

Sam just gave me a stare like I was in trouble or something."Sigh, she sure does seem to know you well Rizo."I stood there speechless with some random girl hugging me."Oh I just knew I would find you again. Fate has truly smiled apon me."I had no idea what she was talking about or who the heck she was either."Uhm...Do I know you miss?"She stopped hugging and took a step back.She started hopping on one leg with a curious look on her face."Of course you know me dummy.How could you not Suki?"Sam stood up from the log and walked over next to me."Suki?And who exactly is that Rizo?"I couldn't tell if Sam was also as cluelless about this as me or pissed of that some girl she didn"t know was treating me like a close friend."Err..I am afraid you must have me confused with someone else.I'm Rizo Okami."She stopped hopping and put her one hand on her hip and smiled."Yeah yeah I really don't care what you call yourself now Suki.Now come on we've got so much catching up to do."She grabbed my left hand and tried to pull me away from Sam"Hey!Just hold on a second where do you think your going?" I nervously smiled at Sam."I honestly don't know but I think its best if I clear things up with this chick 'cause she really thinks Im this 'Suki' guy."She pulled my arm again and started skipping towards the camp exit."Come on come on Suki, hurry up!"I just let her lead the way while looking back at Sam with her arms crossed."I'll meet you back at the tent Sam."But I think she didn't hear me that well.She finally stopped and let go of my hand.She lead us to the edge of a lake."Woah..." I stared at the lake, the ripples made by the dropping cherry blossom petals glimmered in the moonlight."Sure is a sight to behold huh?"She was sitting at the edge of the lake holding her knees against her chest."I stood next to her and sighed."You said we have some catcing up to do?Thats gonna be hard since this is the first time I've met you."She giggled and continued on."You might not know me anymore but I can never forget you Suki." I threw a stone into the lake and sat down next to her."Again...my name isn't Suki, its Rizo."I layed down resting my head on my arms ,looking up into the vast night sky."Sure whatever you wanna call yourself now but you will always be Sukiyomi to me.I guess you didn't keep your memories when you cast that reincarnation spell."What she said filled my mind with utter confusement."Reincarnation spell?What the heck are you talking about?"She looks at me and smiles."Wow I really thought you'd come back as someone smart.The reason I know you is because I know who you used to be."I didn't fair well to the remark about my intellegence but I got the just of what she was saying.I went into deep thought for a while, wondering if I really could have been someone else before this life.It made me curious about what kinda guy this Suki was.The fact is that it really intrigued me alot."What you thinkin' bout?"I open my eyes ready to respond but I am silenced when I realised my perculiar situation."Uhm -what are you doing?" She was ontop of me raised off the ground with her arms by my shoulders.She giggled and smiled.I wondered if that would always be how she responed to my questions."Suki?Why did you give up the those wonderous assets to be a guy?And a werewolf none the less?"Her hanging over me was already making me nervous as hell but after I finally realised what she meant by that I practically went brain dead for a second."W-Wait!? Suki is a girl!?"She stared at me as if amused by my sence of reality imploding in my head."It's kinda funny don't you think?I bet you wanted to come back as a guy huh?"I didn't know how I was suppose to answer that but I just tried to keep my mind together."Y-You sure your not mistaken miss.."She leaned in close and grinned."I'm sure it's you, and I'm Ruby by the way."She crawled off me and layed beside me trying to see what I was looking up at."So Ruby, were you and Suki friends before this?"She gave me a strange look."Friends?"
