it wasn't always this boring at school, actually. I have a loving mother and father, good friends, but yet I've always felt the lust for adventure. when I space out in class I often let my brain wander, always coming to the sensation that I don't belong here but after debate I shrug the thought away and continue with my day
On a particular day I notice something was off. everyone seemed to be moving slower. checking the calendar I saw that today was Monday so that was my first guess then checking the moon phase it, thereally was going to be an eclipse so that was my conclusion. I got through the school day and drove home. the nagging feeling still coursing in my blood, I fumbled with my house key opening my door and slipped my school bag off my shoulders. no one was home so I just stayed in my room. after doing homework, I yawned and leaned into my bed drifting into sleep.
I woke up around 12 that night to a light seeping through my curtains. I walked to my door and checked my wall clock reading 12:01 so I walked downstairs for a glass of water taking at least 2 minutes. after getting my cup I went up the stairs and checked the clock again, 12:01....
