Alriel POV
I was walking with Kristina and Sei. We were on our way to the guys' house. All three of us girls were roommates, and the guys, Dominic, Paul, and Will, all lived in a house next to us. We were really close, literally and mentally. "Ali, do you think Sei actually wants to play Truth or Dare?" Kristina whispered to me, leaning in so that Sei couldn't possibly hear. I kept my nose in my book while Sei had her arms glued to her side, marching and staring blankly forward with furrowed brows, almost like a soldier. She was weird like that. On the outside she's a total jerk, but when you get to know her, she's soft as a teddy bear and really sweet. She's a bit of a tomboy, to be honest. I shrugged my shoulders at Kristina, with the sort of face that Dominic would wear if he were surprised. He's such a goofball. "I don't think think she wants to, but you know how she is when we're in public." I nudged towards Sei, still walking like a robot on a mission.
Kristina POV
Ugh, Sei and Ali can be so weird! Ali's always either painting or reading some book about this guy named "Mikelanego" I think. I've only caught a glimpse of the book title, since whenever I try to look at it, she pulls it away from me and just glares. I do admit I can be a bit of a snoop, but still! Anyway, I was really excited to see Paul, hes so DREAMY! He's so strong and handsome and... I sighed from my fangirling, not noticing that I sighed out loud, until Sei walked in front of me and started shaking my shoulders back and forth. "KRISTINA! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU LOOKING AT?! IS THAT OUR MATH TEACHER?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!" She yelled, still shaking me. I snapped out of it. "Wait-- What math tea-- OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY! I WAS THINKING, I SWEAR!" I started panicking. Then, Ali came in and saved the day with her soothing tone and reasonable-ness. "Guys, are you serious? We're in public, what are you doing? Sei, you know how Kris gets, all dreamy," she said, before lowering her voice, "probably just thinking about Paul." She said very swiftly. I just barely made out what she said. "Wait-- Hey! I was NOT!" I know, I was, but you NEVER admit that! Unless you're playing truth or dare, like we're about to do...
Sei POV
I laughed as Alriel and Kristina got in their little fight. I continued to march forward, so nobody could find a soft spot in my armor-like position. I do admit truth or dare is fun, but not when you have to spill the beans. I usually pick truth, because if I picked dare my mom would KILL me if I got a dare that was... Too... Juicy. And if you're wondering where MY behavior is from, it's from my mom.
I did 500 words for this, is this too much or too little? I can't dedicate all of my time to story writing, since I have school and everything, but comment what you think of the first chapter of "The Secret of the Circle"! Have a nice day! =)
