Saved From The Sidewalk

The first day

                                                                                  Kaya's Pov

           AHHHHHHHH" I woke up from a nightmare. "ow" I banged my head on my headboard. "now I know why it's called a HEADboard. "Kaya I hope your ready, school is in seven minutes" I heard mom call from downstairs. I grabbed my phone and glasses from my bed stand. My alarm didn't go off. OMG, I jumped up and put on my school uniform. I threw a mint in my mouth (i didn't have time to brush my teeth) and threw my hair in a messy bun. "Bye mom". I ran outside to the bus stop. After I waited for about ten minutes I checked the time. "8:30"! I was late I ran to school. I ran faster than I ever had before. I was breathing slowly but I didn't slow down. My asthma triggered. I fell to the ground unable to breathe. I held my thought. My airway was almost completely closed. I felt my eyes close and my limp body be picked up.

                                                                 Akira's Pov
I was jogging to school like I usually did, of course, I was late.  On my way to school, I saw something on the sidewalk, it looked like someone strangling themselves. It was a girl.  She was choking, she was dying.  I had to help her, I picked up her body, she had gone limp.  I ran to school faster than I ever had before.  I wasn't sure what they could do at school but I had to do something.  Her eyes were closed and her breathing was extremely slow, I was scared.  I got to school, I had almost broke the door slamming in.  I sprinted to the nurse's office.  I told the nurse what I knew, I knew she wasn't breathing right and I had to help her.  The nurse threw off her backpack and checked her pulse.  She was obviously alive because the nurse stopped breathing so heavily.  She unzipped the girl's backpack and started shuffling through it.  " What are you doing, isn't that illegal?" I asked her.  " She obviously has asthma I'm looking for her inhaler" she answered.  I thought about it for a minute.  " you should get to class honey,  she'll be alright" she exclaimed to me as she handed me a tardy slip.  I hesitated for a minute but the decided it would be best to go to class.

                                                                                 Kaya's POV
                I woke up in the nurse's office I didn't know how I got there.  My breathing seemed steady so I must have been OK. "um excuse me" I asked the nurse. I felt lightheaded. "oh my Gawd child your OK" she cried as she gave me a bone crushing hug. "What happened," I asked cautiously. "Honey you had a severe asthma attack. If that werewolf kid hadn't saved you-" I cut her off. " wait... werewolf kid... y-you mean A-Akira?" I asked nervously. my childhood crush had carried me unconscious from my house to school. "Oh yes, that was his name" I almost fainted. I blushed. "well thank you miss but ill be getting back to class,nurses" I said as polite as I could "ok just be careful in gym-" I cut her off by slamming the door tnurse'soffice. "I sprinted to my homeroom classroom so I didnt have to miss my favorite class.
