Violet stretched her arms as we walked through the halls to exit the school. “Finally! School’s out.” 

Amy bounced happily, walking beside her. “Weekend here I come.”

“Movie date this Saturday?” I suggested once we stepped out of the school halls.

“I don’t know," Violet said, tapping her chin, but I knew something bad was coming out due to the mischievous glint in her eyes. "shouldn’t you be there with Rex,”

I scowled. “I’d rather choke on the popcorn."

Amy giggled. She always giggled.

Violet smirked. “Fine. I vote for a horror movie.”

Amy turned to her with a pout. “But the sequel of Thor is on.”

“Yeah, I want Thor.” I said, agreeing with Amy.

“But Stan and I were going to watch that next week when he gets here.” Violet whined.

Stan was one of our College friends. Violet and him had been dating for a few months now.They were one of those long distance couples. Stan was studying College in Italy because he was in a prestigious culinary school. I know it was hard for them but I was sure they would pull through.

Amy looked at her pleadingly. “Watch something else. I want Chris Hemsworth.”

“Fine!” Violet said in defeat. Amy and I high-fived each other. “Why are you guys obsessed with Marvel movies anyway?” Violet asked annoyed. We also watched Iron Man 3 and The Amazing Spiderman with her disapproval.

I smirked. “Because I’m in love with Thor,”

“Ouch!” I heard a familiar voice whined. I rolled my eyes as if it was reflex. “That really hurt me, Georgie.” Rex said, feigning hurt.

Amy giggled again as we turned to them.

Patrick played along. “You got served by Thor, bro.”

Nathan smirked before gazing at Any, who also returned his gaze with a shy smile. “Well, he is a God.”

Looking at the two, I felt irritation dawn on me. Why couldn’t Nathan just make the move already?

My attention was snapped back to Rex once he opened his mouth. “Humans are so petty! I am Rex and you dare mock me?!” Rex screeched, giving a really bad impersonation of Thor.

I rolled my eyes. “Thor doesn’t talk like that.”

Rex rolled his eyes as he put an arm around my shoulder. “Does it matter? I’m still the boyfriend.”

“Oh, How I’d rather have Thor.” I sighed exasperatedly.

 Rex grinned. “Lucky for me he has Natalie Portman.”

“You guys are too cute!” Violet squeaked giddily.

I shot her a dirty look.

“Hey! Where’s Joey?” Amy asked in confusion. I was glad with the topic change.

“She was supposed to be with us after her cheerleading practice but her family had an emergency.” Violet answered.

“Wonder what happened?” Amy asked herself. Nathan was next to her by that time.

That made me, turn back to my thoughts a few moments ago. Just ask her out already! It wasn't that hard. All you had to do was tell her ‘Hey! I like you and I was thinking if we could hang out sometime’ I mean, seriously? How hard could that be? It was a lot easier compared to just staring at her all the time.
