Chapter 6 : Different

"I would like to know what she looked like, y'know just to get a bit more information from that."I stare up at the sky a bit disappointed.The clouds seemed to cover most of the stars so I didn't see the point in trying to see through them."Describe Suki?Wouldn't it be better If I just show you?"I sat up with a puzzled expression on my face."And how exactly would you do that dummy?Shes dead remember...well physically dead I think."Ruby sits up and crawls infront of me."With magic you dummy!"She places her hands on my face and I slowly go into a haze,Soon enough I am out cold.I didn't know what just happened.As I look on I realise there is nothing ahead or behind me, just an empty void of darkness."Is this cool or what?"Ruby appears next to me in the void giggling as usual."Erm..Where the heck are we?"She grins and then looks on at the never ending blackness."We're inside your mind, well part of it I think."I freak out for a second trying to move around but all I seem to do is float in this emptiness."Calm down Suki. Damn I thought You wanted to see what you use to look like?Well putting an image of her in your head is the easiest way possible."I give her a stern look and answer."You sure this was the easiest way?Seems to me your just to lazy to describe her to me in words."She sticks her tongue out and me and folds her arms."Thats not true..It's just uhm...well just shut up and look okay genious."I look at where she is pointing and there is a mirror.As I try to focus my eyes on it we float closer to it.After a while of staring at foggy glass I give up."I don't get it.Whats this suppose to do?"She flicks her fingers and the fog starts to clear the mirror.I look into it and immediately cover my eyes with my hands."Ruby!What the hell!?"She giggles and flicks her fingers again."Oh sorry, you didn't say you needed clothes, heh."A striped sweater and black skirt appear on the figure."Okay you wimp you can open your eyes now."I peak through my fingers and see a girl.I slowly remove my hands from my face and look on."Woah. So this is Suki?" I stare into the mirror at a girl.Long black hair, maroon red eyes and pale skin.Smokey grey wings peer through her hair and a pointed tail rapped around her left leg."Yeah, Thats you before you cast that spell.Cute right?"I give Ruby a glare."You expect me to say yes?It's kinda wierd if you keeping talking about me and her as one person..."She grins and looks back at the mirror."I guess so.I gotta admit you and her are very different when it comes down to it all. Didn't expect you to be so...well so you."I fold my arms and float back a bit."I don't know what thats suppose to mean but your right,I and her are totally different."As I turn my head looking at the mirror the figure mimics my movements as if I were looking at myself.In some weird way I felt like I was."I'm glad your enjoying looking at the mirror and all but we gotta end this spell soon."my face turns red and I turn away from the mirror."Okay, but why so sudden?"she rubs the back of her head and nervously smiles."Well if we stay in your head any longer you might end up in a... comma." I was just about to freak out about beyond measure but she grabs me by the hand and pulls me close to her."Stay calm or it will happen, jeese. Just head towards the doorway."She points me towards the shining light on the other side of the darkness."You could have told me the risks before doing this y'know." We make our way to the doorway of light and everything goes black and fades away.I wake up by the river."Yes! I'm not brain damaged...atleast I hope so."I feel something squeezing my arm tightly."Ruby let go please..."She yawns and keeps her eyes closed murmuring."Err, wake me up in a few minutes please."I lay there for a while and sigh."I know your not asleep so just give it up."She opens her eyes and giggles."Oh your no fun dummy."She still continues to restrain my left arm from me as I try to stand up."Come on just let go!"She buries her head in my jacket."No. It's so cold out here and your so warm."I finally manage to pry her off of me and I back up a few steps."If your that cold then why didn't you say so."I take my jacket off and hand it to her." She smiles and covers herself in it."But won't you freeze without it Suki?"A few words pop up in my head so I use them."I thought you had 15 years to get smarter, heh."She has a clueless expression and asks what I meant by that."Well I am a werewolf first of all and I'm the use to the frigid temperatures.This cold breeze is nothing but child's play for me." I have a big smirk on my face as she walks up to me and moves her hand through my hair."I guess that explains why your hairs so gosh darn white.Its kinda cute though that you look like Jack Frost."I look down a bit embarresed."Well I am the Winter variety of wolf I guess..." She stares up at my hair for a while but slowly starts to focus on my eyes."But why such unusual eyes?" I back up feeling a bit targeted."There just that color okay?I can''t help it if they glow at night."She has a soft gentle smile on her face and puts her hand on my cheek."I didn't say they were bad.The yellow kinda reminds me of a sunrise."I smile and decide to accept the compliment without complaint."Thanks yours aren't too bad either."She pats me on the cheek and gives me some space."Don't try your luck Suki or I'll make you regret it."I take the warning lightly and decide that it's time to go back to the camp.The moon was on the other side of the sky and the sunlight was already starting to peek through the horizon."Hey thanks for the help Ruby I really appreciate it."She grins and bows diligently."My pleasure Sir Suki."I laugh a bit and bow also."And If you really wanna show your appreciation then there is always something you can do for me."I stop bowing and look up."And what would that be?"
