Chapter Eight ( Alex POV )

" She asked everything I can't answer . How did he even find her ? " I asked Jacob . " How would I know ? Did she tell you where she was ? " He asked picking up all the stuff I was throwing around the living room . " Yeah . shes at home . " I started helping him pick up the mess . " What got you worked up anyways ? How do you know he found her ? " Jacob asked throwing all the big pieces of shattered glass in the trash can . " He sent me pictures of her . And they were close , way to close for her to be safe . " I said not noticing how tight I was gripping the remote I picked up off the floor . " Calm down Alex , we'll pick her up tonight . She can stay here until futher notice . " he tried reassuring me she would be safe but my parents would blow up the U.S looking for her . " Then she'll have to tell my parents shes going somewhere , don't need them looking for her . " Jacob nodded . " I'll come up with something for your parents . " he said going up the steps . Once he was gone I just sat on the floor and thought of all the mistakes I have made . My sister could be taken and killed all because I wanted to be noticed , wanted to fit in and make money . People respect people who work for that bastard , and just like a dummy I went and did his dirty work . Jade has every right to hate me at this point . I ran away from home left her all alone , hurt my parents , I just screw up stuff . " Alex ! " Jacob called from up the stair case . " Huh ? " I yelled back . " Come here , I got a plan . " I jumped up and jogged up the steps skipping a couple of steps . " What is it ? " I asked walking into his room . " She has a friend over right ? " I nodded . " Well tell her to go over her friend house and we will pick her up from there . " I looked at him like he was retarded . " Why would I do that ? " he shook his head " Well , if you go pick her up from ya'll house i'm sure he will find and follow us . But if she goes to her friend house he will think shes there for the weekend and wait til she gets back . " now i'm following his plan . I nodded and went to call her . I stepped in the hallway and called her . " Jade ? " she answered fast . " Yea ? " she asked . " Go with Milly back to her house . Tell mom and dad you'll be there . Okay ? " I heard her talk to Milly but I couldn't hear the conversation . " Alright . What do I need to take ? " I thought she was about to ask a million and one questions I guess not. " Anything you would take to stay the night anywhere ." she agreed and we hung up the phone . " Shes set Jacob . " I said going to my room . I cut the tv on and sat on my bed watching Maury .

A few hours past when Jacob walked in some black jeans , a black shirt , a pair of all white shoes , and a all white leather jacket . " Where ya headed ? " he looked around my room as if he needed something . " Photoshoot " he said in a 'duh' tone . I be forgetting Saturdays are his work days . " What you need ? " I asked as he still searched my room . " My silver chain and all black watch . " I said looking on my dresser . " Not in here . Bathroom counter . " I said pointing at the bathroom across the hall . " Oh that's right . He said closing my door . I looked over on the side of my bed at my nightstand and pulled open the chest part at the bottom where I hide all my snacks . I got my a snicker bar and a bag of Doritos . I got my phone out and went to kik . I never even open the messages anymore . I had 57 kiks and 110 messages . About 15 of those kiks were from my ex girlfriend who I was actually close friends with . I wish I could tell her where I was but then she basically be involed in all this mix . I wish that bastard would have just let us off , Jacob and I would have kept quiet . He so scared of jail he tries to kill everyone who ever gets away . I choose to kik LaToya (my ex) back . I typed ' Hey Toya , sorry I haven't talked to in forever but i've been hell'a busy . Call Me when you can ;* ' and I pressed send . She read it and called right then . " Hello ? " I answered . " Alex ? Where have you been ? You had me worried ! Just up and leave . NO bye , NO explanation , No nothing . You need a beaten . Where are you at ? " I was dying laughing . " Sorry mom . Didn't know you would care . " I said very sarcastic . " We not finna talk about our relationship status , you know damn well I care about you . Where you at ? " I kept trying to dodge that question . " Away . Nowhere in particular . " best way I could put it . " Whatever , when you coming back ? " she said I could tell she wanted a forreal answer . " Uhh , that's the hard part . Ion know if I will be coming back . " she gasped . " What you mean you don't know . Alex , quit playing ! " LaToya started yelling . " Bae ...... I mean Toya , I don't have answers so chill . I'll let you know when I find out . " she got really quiet . Then she started laughing . " What ? " I asked . " You said bae . I haven't heard you slip up and say that in a while . " she kept laughing . " Whatever Toya , what you doing ? " I asked . " Nothing laying in bed , but i'm finna babysit . So ima call ya later . " . " Alright . " she laughed . " Don't go stranger for three weeks again Alex . " I laughed . " I'll try . " . We said our goodbyes and hung up . I checked the time and it was getting late . Jacob was running late home , I guess i'd have to go pick up Jade alone . " Alex , you still here ? " Jacob yelled up the stairs as he ran up . " Yea , getting ready now . " I answered sliding into my shoes . " Call her let her know we on the way . " he peeked in and then continued to his room up the hall . I waited for him to change while I called her . She told me she was at Milly's place and mom and dad didn't really ask any questions . I told her don't tell Tony she'd be leaving cause he doesn't need to find us .

This running away from your problems is hell'a hard . I just wanna go back to sleeping in my parents house , eating my moms meals , and going out every night , just living normally . Jacob came down the stairs and grabbed his keys off the marble island in the kitchen . " Let's head out " Jacob said walking out the door with a bottle of water . I got up off the sofa and followed behind him . I closed and locked the door . " Hurry it up . " he said starting up the car . I slightly jogged and got in the front seat . " Where am I going ? " he asked as he backed out the drive way . " You that CVS ? Over there by that old Shannon Mall ? " He looked at me confused . " It's by all of those car dealers . " I continued . " Ohhhhhhh , yeah . Okay . " he said finally catching on . We pulled off and headed straight there , we made small talk about how long she'd be staying then with us and simple details we might not even come across . But i'd rather be safe then sorry .
