Hey guys sorry about the chapter glitch I'm not sure how to fix it so you just have to skip around. Sorry :/ I'm really sorry about how late this chapter is. I'll try to update every tuesday but I might not be able to so bare with me. This chapter is going introduce Kats friend Gabby and so Im dedicating it to my friend, Dreaming_Of_Tomorrow, that inspired the character. Chapter 5

Hunters P.O.V.

I waited outside of the appartment building that Kats Grandmother lived in. She went to deliver the medicine and decided it would be best if we waited outside. As I stood there waiting for Kat a group of teenage girls walked by whispering to themselves. They stopped just out of hearing range of any normal person. I however am not a normal human and had no trouble hearing them. They kept looking over at me and whispering to each other about my stunning blue eyes and my leen muscular body. I couldn't help but smile. I wonder if Kat had ever thought about me the way these girls did? My thoughts were interupted when one of the girls walked up to me followed by the eyes of her friends. She had long curly blond hair and blue eyes lined with to much makeup. She might have been pretty if she wasn't dressed like a prostitute. She had on a tanktop that was five sizes to small and shorts that were barely there. She leened in when she talked trying to show of her cleavage.

"Hey, my names Courtney," she said trying to sound sexy, "whats your name?"

I looked at her in disgust "I'm sorry I'm not allowed to talk to sluts" I said turning away. She was pissed. Before she could say anything Kat walked out of the apartment building.

"All done," she said smiling, "what do you want to do?" I smiled. "We could go to a movie, out for lunch, we could go to the park." I listed off a few more ideas and then remembered Courteny was standing there.

When I looked at her she was staring at Kat hard enough to burn through steel, but Kat didn't even notice. I couldn't help but smile, that pissed Courtney off even more. She looked murderous.

People passing on the street seemed to pass around us as if sensing danger. Courtney prepared to lung at the unsuspecting Kat. I was getting ready to stop her when another girl with blond hair and blue eyes barged into our little warzone. she was pretty. She didn't have on much makeup and was wearing respectable clothes. This was what made her so much prettyer than Courtney.

"KATRINA VERLAC!!!" she bellowed, "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!! You dont text, you don't call!" she was seething. I looked over at Kat. she was just sitting there as if this was normal.

"Im sorry Gabby, I just got sidetracked-" "Sidetracked! I've been looking everywhere for you! And when I finally find you you're with a guy and are surrounded by sluts!!!" Suddenly Gabby started crying. "My little baby's growing up so fast." She sobbed. Katrina sat there stunned for several minutes before bursting out in laughter.

"I'm sorry Gabby, I promise I'm not turning into a slutty cheerleader." Kat said with a smile. Gabby let out a breath I didn't know she was holding then looked at me.

"I'm Gabby by the way," she announced , "Who the hell are you?"
