Jade's POV

"Jade, Babe please stop."

"No Lauren. You laughed at me up there with everyone else, you didn't bother helping me." I snapped turning around to face her as she walked down the steps leading to the stage.

"Yeah, Lauren. That wasn't cool." Dinah said siding with me.

The rest of the girls nod their head in agreement.

"Look, I don't wanna be rude but you guys stay out of this." She replied looking at each of them. "Jade, what was I supposed to do to help?" She asks turning to face me.

"WHAT DID LAUREN CIMORELLI DO?! SHE WENT UP THERE AND SANG WITH HER! SHE GAVE HER THAT LITTLE CONFIDENCE BOOST!" Dinah shouted.

"I thought I told you to stay the fuck out of this." Lauren snapped.

"Hell no. Your problems are our problems. If you two argue, it effects all of us."

"Ugh." Lauren rolled her eyes and grabbed my arm roughly, pulling me into her dressing room. She locked the door behind us.

She pushed me against a dressing table and began to kiss my neck.

"Lauren." I said trying to push her off. "What are you doing?"

"Showing you how sorry I am." She whispers huskiky in my ear.

"No." I say using all my strength to push her off. "Sex will not make up for how embarassed I was up there. It won't make up for the fact that whilst I was scared you laughed at me. I'M YOUR FIANCÉ LAUREN!" I ran a hand through my hair and shook my head. "But after what happend, I'm not sure I wanna marry you."

"What?" She said her voice breaking.

"You're supposed to be there for me and you weren't."

"I'm here now."

"Oh big fucking wow. You were up there with me and you weren't comforting me. You weren't encouraging me. You made me feel even more scared by laughing at me...You're not the girl I fell in love with."

"But it was funny."

Is she really saying me being scared was funny? What sort of person, who loves you, thinks that?!

"Me being scared was funny? Well wanna know what else is funny?" I snap and push her backward roughly. "This." I say as I take my engagment ring off and throw it at her.

She fumbles as she tries to catch it, but the sound of it falling on the floor says she didn't catch it. She quickly gets on her knees as she moves things around, trying to find it.

"We're over." I growl as I step over her and walk out of the room.

"Jade, please come back." She cries but I ignore her.

I feel my heart start to hurt at what I've done, but I can't turn back now. I walk straight to the bar and order a pint of lager and down it in one go.

"You sure needed that." The bartender chuckles.

"You have no idea." I say slightly out of breath."

"Another?" He asks.

I nod my head and give him a small smile. "Yes please."

"Jade?"

I turn around on the bar stool and grin widely. "Hey Lauren Cimorelli. The only Lauren I wanna see right now."

"Are you okay?" She asks concerned as she sits next to me and waves away the bartender as he starts to make his way over.

"I ended things with Lauren." I say before taking a sip of my drink.

"What?!" She gasps. "Why?"

"She thought it was funny when I froze on stage. That ain't the girl I fell for. The girl I fell for was sweet and caring. She would have helped me." I snap my fingers. "Just like that."

"Drinking won't help the problem. You'll get drunk and probably see her and say or do something you regret."

I shrug my shoulders and go to take another drink, but she grabs the glass and leans over the counter and puts it behind the bar.

"Hey, I payed for that."

"Don't care. C'mon." She says as stands up and gently grabs my arm and helps me stand up.

"I'm not drunk. Not even tipsy."

"I know." She says and grabs her bags. "You're staying at the same hotel as us for tonight before we move on to Manchester tomorrow right?"

"Yup."

"You can stay with me then, the last thing you wanna do is see Jauregui right now."

I remain silent and grab one of her bags, she gives me a small smile before we walk out of the arena and she get's in one of the taxis that's waiting. She tells the driver where to go as she puts her bags in the boot.

I get in the taxi and wait for, a few seconds later she's in the car and we're on our way to the hotel.

- -

"Just put the bags anywhere, it's only me who is in the room..Well apart from you." She says as we walk into her hotel room.

I gently place the bag I have by the door and watch as she kicks her shoes off and sits on the bed and switches the TV on.

"Bought a few DVD's today, if you wanna watch one?" She asks as I walk towards the bed and sit down, taking my shoes off before I lay down.

"Okay, you choose."

"Step Up All In, it is then."

She pops the DVD in and as we watch, I can't help but feel like I'm that sixteen year old again. I smile at the memories, even the bad ones because it brought us closer together.

"Jade? Hey you okay?" Lauren says as she hovers over me. "You stared into space for like five minutes, I thought you were dead."

As she looks down at me, I feel all my old feelings for her come back. She wouldn't treat me the way Lauren Jauregui did...She proved that tonight. Without thinking, I cup her right cheek and lean up, catching her lips with my own.

She kisses me back before pulling away and biting her lip.

"You're drunk." She whispers.

"I'm not. Even if I were I know what I'd want...And I want you." I whisper back.

She looks into my eyes, searching to see if they hold lies behind the words I've said. She smiles as if she's found her answers and then leans down and kisses me again.

I grab her leg and pull it over me so she's straddling me.

I've missed this. I've missed her. I've missed being like this with her.

I love her. Kissing her and holding her I realise...I never stopped loving her.
