Yukino's POV:

As soon as the nurse let me leave with several bandages wrapped around my arms and legs, my phone made a noise to signal that I had a notification.

I unlocked my phone to read, 'Ms. Agruia, You may come in today for the results of her check up. Just go to the front desk and say your name, they will guide you.'

I typed in a thank you and quickly headed over.

Now you're wondering where I'm going right? Well, I'm going to Magnolia Hospital. Why? My sister is in a coma and hasn't woken up in two years.

I stood quietly at the bus stop, and waited. 10 minutes had passed so, impatiently, I walked the 20 minutes.

The wind blew relentlessly and scattered neat stacks of leaves everywhere. I frowned at the sight thinking Same leaves, same.

Why is it that when I try to have a normal life, something just has to drive me off course? I wanted to scream a freakishly loud FUCK YOU LIFE, but that's not how you make a good impression on life to get a good life is it.

I finally reach the hospital which had about 45 minutes until closing. I went up to the front desk and did as instructed. The nurse brought me to room 308 and left me alone with my sister.

I left my bag by the door and dragged a chair to sit next to her bed. Taking her fragile hand in mine, I try to warm it up.

"Hey sis." I said trying to break the silence that was haunting me, but it just grew more awkward. I cough and cleared my throat, "So, I'm doing well. School's not bad, though I just got about three bruises from fighting. I know what you're going to say, 'Fighting is bad and we should tolerate each other.' It was self defense though, so does that count?"

I started to ramble on, not really paying attention to what I was doing. "School work sucks though, I expected homework when we got back into school, but not five essays due for two subjects." A smile, "I bet you'd be laughing at me now, huh." My vision became watery and blurred with tears. "You would always find the better side of things and tell me how ridiculous I was for acting like a child. I can't help it though, I bet you never had to be bullied or confronted because someone talked to you."

I could hear her laughter ringing in my head, so I laughed with her.

Then someone knocked on the door.

"Come in."

A nurse opened the door, and entered, "Ms. Agruia, you have to leave soon, visiting hours are almost over."

I nodded and when to get my bag. I shouldered it and turned to face my sister before I left.

"I'll come back and visit you again, soon sis." I waved goodbye and closed the door soundly behind me.

I took the elevator down to the lobby and went up to the desk to say bye, but saw the nurse was talking to someone already.

The nurse looked up, "Oh, Ms. Agruia, leaving now?" she asked.

I nodded and went towards the door, not wanting to interrupt their conversation.

"Yuki?"
