Covered lies

Prologue

I stumble into my apartment after a long day work. It was quiet, just the way I liked it, unless it was the constant beat of music flying through the air and directly into my ear drums. I make my way down the short hallway that lead to my bedroom and to the right my bathroom. Setting my things onto the bed I pulled my long brown hair out of the bun that laid on top of my head. The relief away from the constant tugging at my hair that was the bun was amazing to me. I ruffled a hand through my hair pulling at the snarls and made my way to my bathroom. I shut the bathroom door and turned the shower on letting it run to heat up. Flipping the fan on i look in the mirror.

My jaw line and collar bones were unpresentable, covered in fat, that goes four the rest of my body. My arms and stomach, my legs and back, just covered in the unneeded monster that haunts my mind almost 24/7. I leaned forward in the mirror, turning my head slightly to one side then the other taking in everything. I was breaking out in acne a lot lately. Only adding onto the stress, my hair was falling out and not cooperating with me. Taking a deep breath I stood back giving myself a small smile before stepping into the warm water of the shower. Letting the water run through my hair and down my back, absorbing me, momentarily taking me away from what was the small amount of reality that had left to take ahold of. About ten minutes pass by and I decide to get out. When I stepped out of the shower the cold air hit my back making me shiver and wrapping the towel around me quickly.  I opened the door letting all of the steam out and made my way back to my bedroom. Picking out some shorts and a tank top I brush through my hair quickly and flip open my laptop whole scrolling through my phone for some music.

And that's when I got a call from him.
