Hello! This is the first story I’ve written and put out there, I hope that it turns out well. I go by Kovik, you can just call me Kov for short. Anyway, tally ho! I appreciate any criticism with the story, I will decide whether I will put out more chapters in the following days. Forgive me if my facts are off and the title seems obscure, if not entirely obscure. The characters are a copyright of Rick Riordan. The photo is a copyright of "viria".

If Calypso was to be asked how she felt when she left Ogygia, the silence would be a long time. Those emotions were something she was not use to, yet, experiencing her made her feel mortal, or simply human.
Yet, here Leo came in like a storm upon her island to take her from her prison isle. The gods bargained with Leo, since no man could find Ogygia, they would comply with him if he could find it again. To their surprise, he found the island, fighting the elements to get to her.
It was a long three months for him, instruments he made failed and led him in a circle. He circumnavigated the world in search for the girl who smelled like cinnamon and heartbreaks.
Friends asked why and how he would find her, he always would say, “I just will”. Time did not stand still for him, it changed him in maturity and appearance, yet it didn’t change his heart, it never faltered on who he held dear.
Some called it madness, but Jason, Piper, Percy, Annabeth, and the others supported him. They knew how important it was for him and did not want to hold him back. They did of course, want him back in one piece.
There were many things that she felt that day, fear of the unknown, vulnerability, and almost hesitant. She did not think she would feel them when he came back three months after he promised to get her.
The son of Hephaestus relieved her uncertainty; she remembered the quote he told her. The grease covered demigod turned his head to her and said, “To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life”.
She then asked where it came from, to which he responded, “I swear it’s the motto of some magazine. They’re like papers.” The goddess’ eyes rolled faster than he first fell from the sky onto her island. “To think, wise words would actually come out of your mouth Valdez.” Leo smirked and turned his head away from her as he navigated Festus, “I tried, Sunshine. No need to be so crass. Actually…”
He glanced over his shoulder, “I think you owe me something. You know…”he winked. Calypso’s eyes narrowed at her, trying her best to seem irritated. Yet, to his surprise, she actually showed her appreciation. The former immortal leaned forward and hugged him from behind; a “thank you” escaped her mouth. It was enough for Leo to hear, grinning in response.
“Anything for you, Sunshine.”
The ride lasted for a while; they had to makes some stops on the way back to Camp Half-Blood. While they traveled, Calypso passed the time by observing how much Leo Valdez has changed.
She wondered how much of him has changed, has his heart changed? Did he come get her because it was an obligation he held to his heart?
His hair was considerably tamer; it was like a lion’s mane. Leo’s hair tickled her face, not that she minded. He kept his frame, however his shoulders were broader and his arms looked considerably stronger.
The clothing he had when she first saw him were not what he was wearing, he wore dark denim jeans, dark shoes, and a dirty white dress shirt. His features showed maturity, but retained a boyish and childish look on his eyes.
