Moving day

Riley's POV -
I drove to the airport in Denver. It's so weird leaving here knowing I won't come back knowing it's home. I can't be sad though, I'm moving to LA to live out my dream. I plane is about to being boarding when my phone rings it's my new roommate, Rachel. "Hey Riley I'm so sorry but you can't live with me...my landlord said that not notifying him that there was going to be another person in the place means I'm forced to not let you stay with me. I'm so sorry" she says. "Omg what am I supposed to do?" I ask in panic. "You can look online for people who are in need of a roommate..." she replies. "Ok I'll see what I can do." I hang up and get on the plane.

I have to sit next to a baby...great I roll my eyes and sit down. At least it's a window seat. I knew the baby would most likely start crying so before that happened I made myself fall asleep.

I wake up to the sound of the pilot saying we will be Landing in Los Angles in a short five minutes. The plane lands shortly after and I get my bags out of the plane. I wait outside for an uber to take me to a hotel, because I have nowhere else to go for now. As I am waiting I see a really cute boy with curly hair. I stare at him for a while and he finally looks back at me. His eyes widen at the sight of me. I see him walking closer to me and I get nervous. "Hey I'm Jc." He says sweetly. "Oh...hi...I'm Riley." I say back. "You look lost..are you new to LA?" He said slightly giggling. "Yeah. I was supposed to be moving in with one of my friends but she bailed." I say back. "Man that sucks....well you know me and my best friend Kian, have an extra room if you want it, it's all yours." He says back smiling. "I'll definitely consider." I say. "Why don't we Exchange numbers and we'll keep in touch." He says. "Sound like a plan." I say back. 
I pull out my phone out of my pocket and I hand it to him, and he gives me his. "Well I've got to get going but I'll definitely text you later." He says and he walks off the other direction.
