Chapter 16

(Eric's POV)

"ERIC!!!" Niall shouted.

"You're Awake!"

Then the doctors came rushing past with, Lauren and Paul?

"Niall, What Happend?" I asked.

I was really worried that Lauren tried to kill herself, after she told me she couldn't handle it without me.

"They were, um, in an accident. Their okay, but Paul's got a giant piece of metal stuck in it, and Lauren got pretty bad road rash and cuts all over."

Louis and I gasped.

My TV was then turned on, it was an accident.

I saw Paul's vehicle, there was a trucker with a bottle of booze in his hands waving, he looked angry. Then I saw Lauren's door open and her head pop out of the opening. Then the Truck slammed into Paul's vehicle. Paul was laying by the vehicle, and Lauren was flung 20 Fucking Feet.

We all gasped at the sight.

"And their completely okay Niall?"

He replied, "She said they were fine, so I guess so?" He said in confusion. More like a question.

Then everybody, and I mean everybody ran in hugging me, and in shock of what they had seen on the tv.

"Is Lauren and Paul okay?" At least 10 different people asked.

Niall simply nodded in reply.

Then Lauren came in, limping.

She's not okay.

Then she winced as she was touched.

She's definitely not okay.

Then She barely sat down on the bed. Then she had tears in he eyes.

She's Absolutley, Positively not okay.

Then she was squeezed to death, that's when I could tell she couldn't take it.

"STOP! SHE'S IN PAIN, CAN'T YOU SEE!" I screamed, defensively.

They backed away from Lauren,who was now crying from the pain. Then everyone backed away.

Sorry's were thrown around the room.

She just Nodded, and said,

"It's okay...Eric, I've missed you so much, I can't believe you woke up today!"

I lightly hugged her, and said,

"I've missed you too."

Then some nurses came in, they had to wheel Lauren out.

(Lauren's POV)

I was brought into the Surgery room.

They were stitching me up, and treating my Cuts and road rash.

It hurt so much, I was watching what was on the news.

The Accident. I'm not really sure what happened after I woke up on the ground.

I watched in horror. That's me, it's horrible. Then Paul, he got body slammed by the car.

Oh Christ! I'm definitely not okay! It FUCKING Hurts.

Then the doctor comes in.

"Well Lauren, you have a broken A bone on your lower spine, and a few toes, and chipped a bit of your tibia. Then, we have some more bad news.

You were just diagnosed with, Acute lymphoblastic leukemia."

I know leukemia is cancer. Oh My Fucking God! I can't tell the boys.

"What are the chances of getting me through it?" I hesitantly ask.

"If you start treatment within a month, 85% chance. We caught this very early." He stated.

"I'll let you talk it over with you family, unless you want me to." He said.

"Umm, can I see them first, then have you come in and tell them." I replied.

He simply nodded.

So went and talked. I had to act normal.

When were done, the nurses wheeled me out. That went better, than I expected.

Than we went to a hospital room, and they gave me a bed.

I went into the bathroom and layer on the floor, bawling.

Why did I have to have Cancer?

I made sure I locked my door, I didn't want them to come in. Until I was stable, that is.

(Eric's POV)

Lauren seemed even more shakey, than normal.

Then the doctor came in.

Then he started, this was weird...

"As you know, Lauren might've suffered a few injuries. She has a chipper Tibia, Broken bone in her lower back, and a few broken toes. She has 3rd degree burns from the explosion, and she has severe cuts and Road Rash."

I thought he was finishing, I was in disbelief, but then he started again...

"She was also diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, also known as ALL. She needs to start treatment soon."

Now I was crying. As well as everyone else.

I know, Cancer, I was so shocked.

Niall was hysterical, and my mouth was gaping open.

The boys were tearing and crying as well, as the girls.

As for Aiden, he was the same as Niall and I.

Dad was then also crying, but comforting me.

I then heard sobbing coming from next door.

Uh-Oh, Lauren...
