Jack maynard

I'd just finished work and starting walking down to my brother Josh's flat . I know that Jack and Conor would be there and that would be fine as I know them quite well.

As I opened the door I could hear screaming so I know  they must be filming a video or watching football. I poked my head round the door cause I didn't want to say anything just in  case they were filming. To my surprise they were filming so I  just sneaked  around the corner as I didn't want to be in shot of the camera.
Only Jack,Conor,josh and Mikey were filming so they weren't being too loud. I played on my phone for a bit as I didn't want to watch them the whole time as I would watch the video later.

After 20 minutes the video wrapped up so they all came up and greeted me.

"Hey you should have told me you were coming round so we could have filmed later" josh said.

"I only decided to come round after work as I had nothing better to do" I said .

I would have put better clothes on if I knew you were coming round"Jack laughed.

Josh rolled his eyes as he knew Jack flirted all the time"stop hitting on my sister when I am in the same room and you aren't even going out.
All of the other boys laughed while Jack looked down as he knew what happened. Jack asked me out a couple of months ago but I kindly declined as I had just come out of a long relationship. Nothing was wrong with it but he was moving away and we knew it wouldn't work.

But over the last couple of months,my feelings for Jack had grew and everyone knew but Jack. But even if we did try and go out josh wouldn't allow it as its his best friend. Josh never liked when I had a boyfriend but he just had to get over it.

"Anyway, does anybody want any food because I am bloody starving?"Mikey laughed.
Everyone agreed as I had ate nothing through the day at work and they had filmed for ages.
We decided to walk to nandos as it wasn't far and Mikey said he wanted to exercise. I started walking by josh as I hadn't spoke to just him in a while.

"Hi bro" I said as he wrapped his arm round my shoulder.
"Hi (y/n) I feel like we haven't been together just us in a while."josh said.
"Well I'm always at work and you are normal filming or editing". I said while josh nodded .
" at least  you haven't been round Jack for a while, he has had a girl round a lot".

My head dropped as I knew all my chances had gone. He shouldn't have been flirting with me earlier if he had a girl waiting on him. In my mind I knew nothing would happen with him but it was nice to think of.

"You don't have to bring up Jack in every conversation we have nothing is happening and it won't".

I walked a bit ahead as I wanted this conversation to be over and we had just arrived at nandos. I sat next to Conor as I didn't want to be near josh or Jack. Neither of them had do anything wrong but I just wanted a break from them.
Me and Mikey went up to order for everyone as we both volunteered.

"Have you said  anything to josh because he hasn't spoke since we walked in?". Mikey questioned.

"He just mentioned Jack and I just didn't want to talk about him so I kind of snapped" I said

Mikey nodded as he know I didn't want to talk anymore and I appreciated that. We ordered the food and got everyone drinks from the machines.
The food came and we ate up quickly as we were all very hungry. As we all stood up, josh, Mikey and Conor all walked ahead. I knew what they were doing as they had been planning something at the table. I looked at Jack and half smiled at him. We walked in silence for the first few minutes before I spoke up.

"  Look I don't want anything awkward between us and we don't know what will happen in the future so stop looking in the past at what happened".

He quickly embraced me in a hug like he had been waiting for me to stay like that. We stayed like that for a couple of minutes but it felt like forever. We deattached from each other and I took his hand.

"did anybody tell you about the girl I have been seeing?" Jack said.

"Look don't mention it right now, I'm happy and I want it to stay like that for the night".

Jack nodded and carried on walking beside me. We entered the apartment and all three of the boys looked at us.

"What about ......? Mikey questioned.

"Look we will worry about her tomorrow".
