Chapter one: The new school

Serena POV

It's my first day of school tomorrow and I can't wait! This school is gonna be so fun! I hope I make new friends and maybe meet that boy from summer camp! I can't wait! It's pretty late so I should get to bed as I don't want to be late for school in the morning.

As I woke up I started thinking about that boy and how he saved me at summer camp. I soon stopped as I realised I'd be late if I lay here thinking about him. I quickly got out of bed, took a shower and brushed my teeth.
I put on my skirt and my black top I also did my hair and wrapped it up with a pink band at the bottom. I wanted to put on a hat so I would look cute but I didn't know which one to wear. I shouted my mum (grace) for help and she said the black one in my right hand so I said "okay I'll choose this one then!" I picked up the pink one with a ribbon wrapped around it and placed it on my head.

"Why did you want me if you had already made up your mind?"
My mother said in an annoyed tone
"Because the one you didn't pick is obviously the cuter one!" I replied quickly
"Well okay then" she replied

I went downstairs and opened a bread tin to get some bread out so I could make toast for my breakfast. As I did that I put the TV on and watched the news as some eighteen year old girls do.Then the news reporter mentioned something about a boy named ash Ketchum, a Pokemon champion, who had come to kalos to attend a school.
I turned the TV off and jumped around in excitement, it was him the boy from summer camp coming to the same school as me? Who would believe it!
Just then the toaster had popped and out came the toast, I got the butter and a knife and started to butter it. I then put it on a plate and ate it. Just as I had finished it it was 7:55 and form time started at 8:30 so I thought I would start walking to school now. Maybe i would meet a new friend when I get there? I guess I'll just have to find out!

"Bye mum!" I shouted "I'm going to school!"
"Okay dear, Love you!"
"Love you too mum!" I said and then rushed out the door.
I had crashed into someone around the same age as me with blue hair, a white hat, a pink and black skirt, pink boots and a mini red scarf wrapped around her neck. I quickly apologised for bumping into her. She said "it's alright by the way I'm dawn! What's your name?"
I had calmed down a bit and said "I'm Serena it's nice to meet you! Where are you going?"
"Oh I'm going to kalos high! What about you?" The blue haired girl said
"I'm going there too do you want to walk with me?" I said politely
"Okay!" She said
We walked to the school and when we got there it was already 8:15!
Dawn told me to go to a group of people she said were her friends.
I wonder what will happen?
