Blue walls. Black blanket. Red dress beside me.
Light brown face. Clear water coming from blue eyes. Long black hair.
Blue ceiling.
Brown hand on black blanket. No sound. Just colors.
Gray tray. A girl opening a white door. She was also in white.
Purple ribbon. Red smile. Brown hand putting purple ribbon on my head.
I felt my lips go up. The girl in white lifted a pale brown hand. It was mine. She put two dark brown fingers on my wrist. She let go. Brown hair met me when she turned and talked to the girl with long black hair.
White light from the sky.
I felt my lips move by itself. "It's opening, Mommy." I think that's what my lips were saying. I couldn't hear it anymore.
Blue walls.
More white light. Then all the colors were moving. I could hear again.
"Issue a shock, Nurse!"
Everything was quiet. I felt nothing. I could see black. Dark. Black.
Suddenly white everywhere.
I could hear and feel and see again. I sat up. White staircase.
There was a man in white. His face was shining. I can't see him. But he stretched his hand, where there was a hole. He led me. And slowly, I saw his face a bit more.
It was more gorgeous than all the colors combined.
There was a staircase. A white staircase. There was blue all over and white clouds. We went up the staircase.
There was white again. Many people in white.
For the first time, I felt a new emotion. The emotion of nothingness was all gone. I felt happy.
White.
