"How do you deal with it."  I asked Ross after we had left the restaurant.  My tears had dried and my eyes had gotten less red.

"With all the jerks?"  He said and I nodded. "I just don't."

"But you can't just ignore it, it has to be everywhere."

"It is, but I only let myself read the good stuff."  He answered.  "It's just part of the job.  I'm used to it."

"I guess."  I answered as we walked to the car.

"So it's almost been a week."  He added, changing the subject.

"Don't start that."

"I'm not.  But this entire thing is kind of nuts."

"I know."  I said as we finally made it to the car.  We got in and drive towards my hotel.

"I'll see you later, okay."  He said when I got out.

"Bye."  I got shut the door and walked inside...long night.

I got in the elevator pressing my button then leaning against the wall, letting out some air.

"Wait, hold the doors!"  I heard someone yell from the outside. I perked up and stopped the doors from closing. "Oh hey!"  The girl said as she got on, I noticed the purple strands of hair.  She was holding a couple bags in her hands, incapable of pressing the buttons.

"Alyssa."  I said recalling her name.

"That's it!"  She said peppy and partially out of breath.

"Floor?"  I asked, ready to press the button.

"Same as yours?"  She said sarcastically, I had totally forgotten she was in the room next to me.

"Oh."  I shook my head. "Sorry."

"Yeah...so I see you have got something going on."  She said.

"Oh you saw all that."  I said awkwardly, brushing my hair to the side.

The elevator dinged open and we both got out, heading to our rooms.

"It's alright, you guys make a cute couple."  She adjusted the bags in her hands. "I'm not going to lie, I had to look you guys up.  There's already an article out there on you."

"There is?"  I said shocked, my heart skipped a beat. "My name isn't on there is it..?"

"Just the first name."  She said,  that made me feel better by a smudge.

"Great."  I said stressfully.

"Don't worry, give it a day or two, no one cares that much. He's a Disney kid."  She said.

"Thanks."  I responded, ignoring the 'Disney Kid' part.

We got to our rooms and I pulled my key out of my purse, sliding it into the door.

"Have fun with your 5 seconds of fame."  She said as she struggled unlocking her own door. I was honestly too lazy to help her.

"5 seconds."  I said to myself as I got inside.

"Hey Hun, how was it?"  My mom asked.

"It was fine."  I'd only remembered now that my appearance had changed since when I left.  I could tell she noticed as I turned around to put my stuff down.

"I got a few calls today."  She said showing me her phone.

"Really? From who?" I asked, not really caring...not really surprised.

"Well, Jenna's mom."  She said, once again-not a surprise. Jenna tends to not shut up. I bet all of my friends at home know by now.

"Aunt Emma."  She continued. My aunt Emma had a daughter who probably loves Ross.

"And then your dad."  She used the motherly tone. "Actually I called him."

"Oh, and how'd he take it?" I asked. He hadn't heard anything about this entire relationship yet.  We don't talk to him much on vacation, he's too busy.

"He's happy for you, concerned though.  But he's your dad, don't worry."

"But did he actually care?"  I asked. "Do I have to call him?"

"He cares, but we can wait until we get home to talk about it all. Okay?"  She was my mother and she knew I had been upset earlier. But, she was my mother and she knew I didn't want to talk about my previous tears.

"Alright."   I said pulling out bobby pins from my hair.  "I'm going to bed."  I said acting tired. I really just wanted to cuddle up in some blankets and cut off the thought train for a while.

"Goodnight Hun."  My mom sad then came over to give me a hug.

"Night mom."  I said then went to bed.

Alyssa said five seconds of fame. This is going to last way more than five seconds.
