Chpt 1. Birthday Wish

 Today is the day, I heard my alarm go off, But I was already up. Today I turn seventeen and I'm so excited. I'll finally be able to find my one true love, my soul mate, my everything. I smiled wide as I was the first one awake. I'm not exactly treated correctly in this pack. You're most likely saying pack? Well, I'm a werewolf...I haven't exactly transformed into my wolf yet. My family was so embarrassed that I didn't transform on my fourteenth birthday, that's when you're supposed to. I made my way to the bathroom. I looked myself up and down in the mirror, frowning and thinking about my transformation. "This day is going to be a great day Selene" I closed my eyes, whispering to myself. I took a cold shower, as always, to energize myself for school. I got out and wrapped my towel around my body. I walked back to my room, putting lotion on myself. I put on a white long sleeved crop top and blue skinny ripped jeans. I picked it out last week. I also picked out a lime green one piece swimwear. The Alpha was resigning from his job because his son turned eighteen last week and was ready to be the Alpha. The soon to be Alpha was also Jake Cooper and he was the biggest douche ever. I shook my head, snapping out of my thoughts as my dad walked in.

 "Selene fix your hair, and why can I see your stomach?" He asked, being the protective dad that he was I stuttered as I looked for an answer but he just said "Change" and I nodded, frowning. I loved this outfit and I was going to sneak out with it anyway. 

"Okay dad" brushed my hair, putting makeup on a little then sneakily grabbed my things, and left the house. I'm sorta the shy type but when you piss me off oh you're in for a treat. I walked to Dunkin Doughnuts and paid for a doughnut before leaving and walking to school. I checked my phone and got three messages "Well look who's popular" I whispered to myself. The school was only about five blocks away so I got there pretty quickly. I looked around as I entered the school, hoping no one's eyes were on me. 

I sat down at the edge of a lunch table that had a few cheerleaders and they quickly rushed away. I furrowed my brows, ignoring them and getting on my phone. I looked through my snap chat and there were tons of people telling me happy birthday, I smiled. Sighing in happiness I watched as others watched me whispering things someone shouldn't have to hear on their birthday.

 As the bell rang, I gathered my things and left for my 1st block period, history. Time went by and soon it was lunch time. I grabbed a plastic tray and ate by myself at the table I sat at that morning. This was an all werewolf school, they're all so rude to me and I hate it. I think vampires have more class than us.

 I clasped my hands together, ready to pray to the moon goddess for help and friends. I closed my eyes "Dear moon goddess, help me find friendship. I don't want to feel lonely on my birthday. Thank you" I opened my eyes again and everyone was looking at me and laughing. Two more classes passed and I was out of school.

 I walked to the cupcake store and bought a tiny little cupcake with the remaining money in my pockets. I smelled a Red velvet scent as I finished off the rest of my cupcake but, I left as soon as I could. I went home and made my way upstairs ignoring everyone, like they do to me. I had to go to Alpha Cooper's resignment, there is no choice but there's an after party with the pool for teens.

 I couldn't swim but that doesn't mean I wouldn't touch the water. I took a nap. Suddenly I was awoken by banging and screaming from my door. I bet it was Max. "Selene, Get your ass up" I heard him scream. I rolled my eyes, getting up.
