Once again I'm sitting at home watching trashy T.V with a pizza In front of me. Where has my passion for life and adventure gone. As I look around my apartment and all the photo frames covering my walls, I realise I need to call my girlfriend and let my hair down. I've been sitting here for too long feeling sorry for myself.
I grab my phone and call Jess
"Hello" she answers
"Hey hun, what're you doing?"
"Not much, hanging at home, about to open a bottle of wine. You?"
"Bring that bottle over to mine and get dressed. I wanna hit the town" I reply excitedly
"Seriously Cass?" She asks
"Yes! get your hot ass over here, I feel like dancing"
"Alright, I'll be there in a bit" she hung up.
I quickly take a shower and wash my hair. Once out I blow dry my hair into waves falling down my back. Putting my robe on I walk out to pour myself a large glass of wine. Jess knocks at the door before I even reach the fridge.
"Hey" I open the door kissing her cheek.
"I brought the wine"
"Excellent, I'll pour us each a glass!" I say
"I'm glad u called Cass! Even though I had to drag my butt over here I'm looking forward to finding an orgasm" laughed Jess
I burst out laughing "good one Jess just come right out and say it"
We caught up while drinking two bottles of white and got ready. I called a cab to take us to 'X' a night club about 15 minutes away. We walked down to the street to wait.
Jess was wearing a black strapless dress with gold accessories and her hair in a sleek donut. She had sky high black peep toe shoes to finish the look.
I however, had a red body-con dress with black wedges and accessories. My hair out in waves down my back.
We caught the eye of most guys walking down the street and driving past us. The taxi finally pulled up and before we knew it we were at the bar of 'X' ordering shots and chasers.
We decided to go upstairs and sit at one of the tables to drink our drinks and talk some more before going down to dance. As we walked up the stairs I saw my ex-boyfriend talking with some mates "oh great Matt is here!" I told Jess
"Don't worry about it, you're here to have fun, take a shot girl" she replied
"Yeah you're right" I said downing a shot and sitting with my back to him.
We sat and ordered more drinks before finally dragging Jess' butt to the dance floor. We were dancing and laughing, when I felt a body so close behind me I could feel him lean down into my ear "hey baby, you look good tonight"
I spun around to face Matt "what're you doing?"
"dancing" he drawled while placing his hands on my waist. I pushed him away "no Matt, just go" there was no way I was going to let him dance with me after the way he treated me.
"Don't be like that Cass, come home with me" he chuckled grabbing my arm. I started to panic, he must be pretty drunk if he thinks I'm going to take that offer. I pulled my arm away and told him to back off just as another man I had never met put his arm over my shoulders saying "is there a problem here sweetie?" I faked a smile at the stranger silently thanking him for my save thinking this was Jess' doing "no babe, Matt was just leaving. Drink?" And without looking back I let the stranger lead me over to the bar.
"Thanks for that, he was starting to make me panic!" I said to the man, Finally getting a good look at him in the bar lights. Damn this guy was HOT he was about 6 foot 3 well defined muscles bulging under his black shirt with jeans hanging off his hips in the most delicious way.
"No worries sweetie! I could see you looked a little distressed and thought you needed saving"
"Oh, so Jess didn't put you up to it?"
"No?" He half stated half asked.
"Oh sorry I thought my friend must have asked you for help, he's not someone I want to piss off. Thanks again. I'm Cass"
"Drew" he replied "I think we better make more of an effort cos he's still watching you"
"Shit" I hissed. Before I knew what I was doing I grabbed him by the shirt and pulled his lips towards mine. I think he was a little shocked because at first he didn't really kiss me back until I felt him relax into it a bit.
I pulled back realising he's probably here with someone "I'm so sorry! I totally panicked" I apologised
"Don't ever apologise for kissing me! what're you drinking" he asked smiling.
Damn he was cute. "Bourbon and coke"
He ordered our drinks and took me outside.
