- Kageyama's P.O.V -
"Ka-Kageyama... C-Could you please carry me... My legs feel like they are about to collapse under me..." Hinata grabbed my hand and squeezed it softly.
I looked down at Hinata and I felt my heart melt, I love his orange hair that refused to stay down, I love her deep brown eyes that held so many secrets yet I always got lost in them... He was just perfect, "Of course I can carry you."
Smiling, I picked Hinata up bridal style and carried him up stairs to our room so that he could get some needed rest. But what worried me is that when I picked him up he felt lighter than what he was supposed to.
"If you need me, just call me okay?" I set Hinata down on his bed and covered him with warm blankets.
"Umm actually c-could you say here with me? I hate to be alone..." Hinata's voice sounded weaker then it usually was, "O-Or at least until I fall asleep?"
I smiled and grabbed Hinata's hand ans squeezed it, just like he did to me, "Of course... Now get some rest, you need it." I kissed the top of his head.
"Thank you Kageyama..." Hinata smiled softly yet brightly and then he closed his eyes.

A few minutes after Hinata fell asleep, everyone arrived home and I took it to myself to go down stairs to warn everyone about Hinata's condition, "Hinata has a fever at the moment, so he won't be able to play volley ball for awhile..."
"What?!? How did Hinata get sick?" Suga asked me, his motherly instincts kicking in. He was worried about Hinata, we all were.
"I'm unsure, but I'm thinking it's either from stress or just a normal fever." I shrugged, not very sure myself.
"Very well, tell Hinata to get soon! Also, we're all heading out to the gym to practice so call us if you need anything or if anything happens to Hinata, alright?" Daichi spoke after getting his gym bag.
I nodded, "Good luck at practice." As soon as everyone left, I locked the door and went to go check on Hinata.
"Ka-Kageyama...?" Hinata tried to sit up once I opened the door, letting the light flood into our dark bedroom.
"Hey Hinata, how are you feeling?" I sat down on the bed and checked his temperature by placing the back of my hand on his forehead.
"My head hurts a lot and I'm hungry b-but if I eat something, I'll most likely just throw it up..." Hinata leaned into my hand and grabbed my hand which he squeezed every so often, as if he was checking if I was real.
"You need to eat something." I squeezed his hand as a reassurance, "Or at least take a shower, it might help."
Hinata's eyes widened, "N-no you don't need to do that! You already done so much for me... Maybe if I just get some rest I'll feel better! B-But I do have one request, C-Could you please stay with me...?" Hinata scooted over, inviting me to lay down next to him.
I smiled softly, "Of course..." I climbed into bed next to him were I proceed to wrap my arms around his waist, only to have Hinata flinch, "Hinata, are you okay? Have you been eating properly?"
Hinata nodded though I was fully convinced, "Please don't worry about me, I'm fine."
"Very well, now get some sleep." I kissed his forehead, not wanting to push it. He can tell me on his own accord.

A few hours later I woke up to the door slamming shut, "We're back!" I heard Tanaka call out.
"Shoot, they can't know about me and Hinata!" Quickly removing my legs from Hinata and I went to go greet the others.
"How is Hinata?" Suga asked me once I came down stairs.
"He is currently asleep, although he hasn't eaten or drunken anything all day..." I sat down, running my hands through my hair.
"Really? May I go check on him?" Suga stood up, poised to run up the steps.
"Sure, but remember that he is currently asleep." I nodded.
Once Suga left to go check on Hinata, Tsuki came up to me, "Are you gay?"
He surprised me, being blunt like that, "What? I'm not gay! Why do you ask, more importantly, what makes you think that?"
"I'm just wondering, jeez. But if you are curious where I got that conclusion, well lately you have been hanging out with Hinata a lot so I just assumed." Tsuki shrugged as if it was nothing.
"Well, he is sick at the moment and I guess I just feel bad. So I'm taking pity on him." I said my voice monotone. "Stop lying!" A voice echoed in my head, "I'm lying, why am I saying these rude things to the one I love?!?!"
Tsuki looked at me skeptical before he just nodded and left me standing there alone with my thoughts, "Was or rather am I only taking pity on him? I already told him that I loved him but now I'm second guessing myself, did I actually mean it?" I sat down thinking.
"Hey Kageyama," Suga came up to me, "Hinata's fever went down a bit but as you mentioned before about the fact that he didn't eat all day, it really showed."
"That's good to hear that his fever has been going down, even the slightest..." I let out a sigh of relief as if I was holding my breath, "Suga, when do you think he will get better?" Even if I felt like I was lying to myself, I still wanted Hinata to get better.
"Maybe if he gets a little more rest, some food and some water, I'll say tomorrow or even the day after tomorrow." Suga smiled at me.
I tried to crack a smile in return, but I was to caught up in my thoughts to actually return Suga a smile, "Thank you Suga, I hope that he gets well soon so that we can get back to playing volleyball."
"I understand, I want Hinata to play volleyball with us to." Suga smiled at me once more before disappearing into the kitchen.
