After our introduction it Oliver, who seemed to be a generally nice person, McGonagall left us to make our way back to the main part of the school. The whole walk back, Harry and I gushed about this sport and how, despite knowing nothing about it, we have made it onto the team. I won't deny the pack that I was ecstatic about this but still a little nervous as I did not know what this sport was about. We had just made it to one of the many corridors when Ron suddenly jumped out,

"Seeker and a Chaser!" Ron exclaimed, "First years never make the house team!"

"I can't really believe it!" I grinned,

"You two must be the youngest Quidditch players in-" Ron started,

"a century according to McGonagall," Harry finished. We carried on walking through the courtyard and into one of the corridors when we were suddenly bombarded by two red head twins,

"Well done Harry and congratulations Odessa!" George said,

"Wood just told us!" Fred smiled,

"Fred and George are on the team too. Beaters," Ron informed,

"Our job is to make sure you don't get bloodied too bad. Can't make any promises, of course, rough game Quidditch," explained George,

"Brutal! Though no one's died in years, someone will vanish occasionally," Fred started,

"But they'll turn up in a month or two," George finished as they walked in one direction and we walked in another, out into one of the green courtyards,

"Oh dear, what have we agreed to, Harry?" I hushed, audible for just Harry and Ron,

"Don't worry about you two. Quidditch is the best sport going! You'll be great, the both of you," Ron reassured,

"But neither of us have ever played Quidditch before," Harry cried,

"We know absolutely nothing!" I agreed just as Hermione appeared beside me,

"What if we make a fool of ourselves," Harry stated,

"I don't want to let the team down," I spoke,

"You won't make a fool of yourself. It's in your blood," Puzzled by what Hermione, we allowed her to guide us down a couple of corridors until we came to a halt by a large trophy cabinet. Hermione then pointed to a large plaque in the middle which had both my dads and Harry's engraved on it,

"Wow! You never told me both your fathers were Quidditch Players! Harry your dad was the seeker and Odessa your dad was a chaser!" Ron exclaimed,

"I didn't know," Harry and I said in unison. We soon left the corridor and made our way back to the main staircase to head back up to the common room. I walked with Hermione while the two boys were up front, muttering to each other.

"I'm telling you, it's spooky. She knows more about you than you do," Ron spoke just as we reached them at the top,

"But then again, who doesn't. He's not a massive secret," I spoke which causes Harry to give a small chuckle. Just we finished, the staircase we were stood on decided to move causing me to fall forward but luckily, Harry quickly grabbed onto my arms to keep me up, "Thank you!"

"No worries, Odessa," he smiled before looking around to see what was going on, "What's happening?"

"The staircases change! Remember!" Hermione reminded just as the stairs stopped in their new position,

"Let's go this way," Harry decided to which we all agreed and began to follow,

"Yeah before the staircase moves again," Ron muttered as we all run up the stairs. We all followed Harry into a dark corridor which had only the light from the now opened door. Surrounding us was just dust and cobwebs. What an odd room to have in a school, "Does anybody feel like we shouldn't  be here?"

"We're not supposed to be here! This is the third floor, it's forbidden!" Hermione hissed,

"Don't you think they should have locked the door. If they don't want anyone in here, the easiest way would be to lock the door," I scoffed. The suddenly beside me one of the pillars burst into flames  which made us all jump,

"Let's go!" Harry exclaimed causing us to all turn round, only to be greeted by a tabby case with flame red eyes,

"It's Filch's cat!" Hermione cried,

"Run!" I yelled causing us to all sprint down the corridor where each pillar would light up as we ran by. For crying out loud, that is not helpful!

"Quick! Let's hide through that door!" Harry yelled as we reached the door. He tried the lock and jiggled it around, but alas it did not open, "It's locked!"

"That's it we're done for!" Ron squeaked, looking around behind to see if anyone was there,

"Oh move over!" Hermione ordered while raising her wand at the lock, "Alohamora," we then all heard the lock click open which made us all run in,

"Alohamora?" Ron questioned,

"Standard book of spells. Chapter seven," Hermione stated,

"It was our homework, Ron!" I reminded him, to which he just nodded with a vague expression,

"Filch is gone," Hermione said after peering out of the door

"Probably thinks this door's locked," Ron said,

"It was locked," Hermione stated,

"And for good reason" Harry hushed with fear laced within. With a confused look on my face, I turned around to face Harry, but I was instead met wth a massive three headed dog staring down at us,

"Merlin's beard," I whispered. In that moment, we all screamed our heads off and ran straight out of the door and straight into an empty common room,

"What do they think they're doing? Keeping a think like that, locking up in a school," Ron panted,

"You don't use your eyes do you?" Hermione spoke, "Didn't you see what it was standing on?"

"I wasn't looking at feet! I was a bit preoccupied with its heads. Or maybe you didn't notice there wee three!" Ron gushed as we made our way up the stairs to the dormitories,

"It was standing on a trap door, which means it wasn't there by accident. It's guarding something," explained Hermione,

"Guarding something," Harry repeated,

"That's right. Now, if you two don't mind, I'm going to bed before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed...or worse, expelled" Hermione exclaimed before storming off into the girl's room,

"She needs to sort out her priorities," Ron breathed which made me smirk,

"Well, I'm going to head to bed too. Goodnight Harry, goodnight Ron" I smiled,

"Night Odessa," they both replied. I turned and trudged into the room, to find Hermione already in her pyjamas, sat on my bed holding The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. I gave a quick giggle before changing myself and settling myself down for the next chapter. After a while, we both collapsed down on my bed and began to drift off to sleep after the rather tiring day we had faced.
