(A/N: Okay so.... I know I haven't updated this book in a loooonnnggg time, but I really wanted to do something with this song. I know international parents day is on June 1st and it is a while away, depending on where you live, but I kind of don't care. I knew I would forget that I wanted to do this by then, so I'm doing it now. Oh, and, I'm making up a random name for the girl in the part. Hope you enjoy!)

Hey Mom and Dad, I need to talk to you: Cindy

Mom: What is it?

Dad: Yes, darling, go on.

I'm sorry Mom and Dad: Cindy

Mom: What do you mean, honey?

Dad: Did something happen to you, darling?

I know I've messed up bad, I should've, should've done, should've done better.: Cindy

Mom: Are you okay sweetheart, what did you do?

Dad: ...

I'm sorry Mom and Dad for all the time I had: Cindy

Dad: I don't understand.

Mom: Me either, did you do something bad?

1993 you gave birth to me: Cindy

Mom: That is right you are 24, aren't you?

Sweet little baby girl had the world at my feet, before I could even stand.: Cindy

Mom: We wanted to make you feel like you could do anything.

Dad: From what you're saying it seems like you did something you're really regretting.

Cradled me in your right and your left hand a precious bundle of unmade plans.:Cindy

Mom: That is true...

Dad: Very...

Hopes and dreams of bigger things, a bright future so it seemed: Cindy

Dad: 'So it seemed'?

But that light grew a little less bright as I grew up we began to fight.: Cindy

Mom: Yes, we fought, but we got through it.

Dad: Together.

When I was 13 I was so d*mn mean, running away had nothing more to say than "I hate you". But that's not true now: Cindy

Dad: You were mean at that time, I admit, but that was of because the way we were acting around you.

Mom: Yes.

I just don't, I just don't, I just don't know how to say;: Cindy

Mom: Say what?!

Dad: Say what?

I'm sorry mom and dad I know I've messed up bad, I should've, should've done, should've done better.: Cindy

Mom: No, we are the ones that should be sorry, we always fought back then and it was our fault that you felt neglected.

Dad: I agree with your mother.

I'm sorry mom and dad for all the time I had to get my life, to get my life together, but I didn't: Cindy

Dad: Well, you got your life together eventually. I mean, you met Mark and got married, that is what I would call putting your life back together.

Thanks Dad, I just wanted to talk about what happened a long time ago, but couldn't think of a way to bring it up. Then I found this song that pretty much sums it up, I was sending you guys song lyrics by the way.: Cindy

Mom: Oh, you had me crying for a while, I can't believe how accurate that song is. Anyway, is that all you wanted to talk about?

Umm... I have some exciting news for you both.: Cindy

Mom: What is it?

Dad: Yes, please tell us, darling.

Well.... Um.... I'm pregnant.: Cindy

Dad: YES! I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDPA! WOHO!

Mom: That is great news honey! What are you going to name him/her?

Sorry guys, I have to go, I don't feel too good. Bye!: Cindy

Mom: The morning sickness has gotten to her already.
