izzy's sister ☽ duff mckagan [on hold]

7:46pm, new york.

"Lillie?" Ashley asked with a light knock on my bedroom door, "Someone is here to see you."

"Wh--" I stopped when I came to the realization that three days ago when Izzy called he said he was coming.

"Izzy?" I pulled my heavy, white duvet covers off my torso and ran up to hug him.

"Lillie, you look like you haven't slept in weeks." Izzy said, releasing the tight hug.

"That's because I haven't."

"Listen Lillie, I'm here as long as you want me to be, you're taking care of another person now, you need to sleep."

I sighed, "Fine." I twisted on my heels and began pacing back to my big bed, I could hear Izzy's soft footsteps on the carpet, following me.

"Now that you are back in bed, you are going to sleep." He walked over to the black curtains at my window and yanked them shut. "Goodnight sweetheart."

I checked the digital clock beside me, 7:56pm, I haven't went to bed this early since I was seven.

"Izzy?" I asked before he exited my bedroom, "Are you sober?"

"Yea, that's why I left the band, I with-drawled alone in the dark for a month."

I could hear his soft chuckle, and with that I slowly shut my eyelids and drifted off.

14 hours later.
10:04 am, new york
"Good morning beautiful." Izzy laughed, "How was your first time sleeping in weeks?"

"Good morning, it was surprisingly really well." I smiled back at him.

It felt beyond great to smile, the three weeks I've been in New York the only thing I've done was cry, and I couldn't even take it out on alcohol.

Ashley strolled over from the coffee machine beside the counter to the round beige table Izzy and I were sitting at, with two coffees. And I'm stuck drinking decaf.

The apartment Ashley and I shared was quite small for a baby on the way but it was nice, there was a kitchen that led into a tiny dining room for the two of us, just down the hall from there was our two bedroom's across from each other, and a bathroom a little further down.

"Thanks Ash."
