Nick's POV
We had just moved to Edinia a few years ago, I was twelve years old at the time. I'm currently fifteen and I would be in school but I dropped out, my parents didn't really care and they were cool with it. My sister, Moira, however, didn't like my choices and constantly yelled at me. She always said things like "Nick, if you were in school you could be smarter." or "Nick, if you still went to school you wouldn't end up homeless on the street." I always laughed at her when she said those things, she knows that I'm very intelligent for my age and in Edinia if you find yourself homeless the government gets a home for you. However, this year things feel different. Recently our mother passed away, and our father moved and left the house to Moira so I decided that it'd be best for me if I stayed. Now I'm living with Moira and everything is starting to feel a little more normal but I can't shake this feeling that something is out there, lurking in the shadows.
